Robert Schumann의 오르간 음악에 대한 연구

Abstract

낭만주의 시대의 대표적인 독일의 작곡가 로버트 슈만(Robert Schumann, 1810∼1856)은 오르간 작품을 비롯하여 피아노, 가곡, 관현악 곡등 많은 작품을 남겼다. 본 논문은 이러한 슈만의 많은 작품들 중 오르간에서 쉽게 연주될 수 있는 페달 피아노와 오르간을 위한 음악을 중심으로 연구하였다. 먼저, 슈만의 오르간 작품으로는 모두 1845년에 작고된 것으로, 페달 피아노를 위한 「6개의 연습곡, Op.56」(Six studies for the Pedal Piano, Op.56), 페달 피아노를 위한「4개의 스케치, Op.58」(Four sketches for the Pedal Piano, Op.58), 오르간 또는 페달 피아노를 위한 「B-A-C-H의 이름에 의한 6개의 푸가,Op.60」(Six Fugues on B-A-C-H for Organ or Pedal Piano, Op.60) 페달 피아노를 위한 「6개의 연습곡 Op.56」은 6개의 곡으로 이루어져 있다. 앞의 제 1-3곡은 2부형식의 구조이며, 제 4-6곡은 3부형식의 구조로 되어있다. 또, 카논 형식의 모방 기법이 많이 사용되었고 단조의 노래가 장조로 종지 하는 피카르디 3도(Picardy 3rd)의 쓰임이 종종 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 페달 피아노를 위한 「4의 스케치, Op.58」은 예술적이며 유머스러운 소품으로 모든 곡이 미뉴엣-트리오-미뉴엣의 3부형식이며, 박자는 3/4박자이다. 이 작품은 앞의 「6개의 연습곡 Op.56」같이 모방기법이나 카논 등의 기법보다는 자유로운 형태로 쓰였고, 전조가 많이 나타나며 전조시에 관계조가 아닌 먼 조로의 전조가 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 오르간 또는 페달 피아노를 위한「B-A-C-H의 이름에 의한 6개의 푸가, Op.60」은 바하 (Johann Sebastian Bach,1685∼1750)의 대위법에 영감을 받아 쓴 곡으로 B-A-C-H(Bb-A-C-B)를 중심으로 테마가 나타난다. 주제와 단순 모방, 축소 모방 등의 모방 진행이 나타나며, 반진행, 스트레토(stretto)가 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 결론적으로 슈만의 오르간 음악은 그가 바하의 영향을 받아 대위법적인 기법들을 사용했지만 그가 낭만 시대 작곡가로써 작은 형식으로 자유롭게 작곡하였음을 알 수 있었다.

;Robert schumann(1810∼1856), is a composer that represents Germany's contribution to the Romantic Era. He left us with an abundant amount of piano, organ, vocal, and orchestral pieces. This thesis covers his works as a composer for the pedal piano and the organ, in and around 1845.These compositions are mainly the:「Six Studies for the Pedal Piano, Op.56」,「Four Sketches for the Pedal Piano」 for pedal piano; and「Six Fugues on B-A-C-H for Organ or Pedal Piano, Op.60」for both organ and piano. 「Six Studies, Op.56」,for the pedal piano is composed of six parts. The first three parts consist of a binary(two part) form, The remaining are in tenery(three part) form. These pieces also show a use of canon and imitation. 「Four Sketches, Op.58」, for the pedal piano, is an artistic and humorous piece. The composition is formed by a Three Part Minuet-Trio-Minuet and the meters for this piece are 3/4. Schumann did not use canon or imitation like he did in the Six Studies, Op.56, but he expressed himself more freely. 「Six Fugues on B-A-C-H,Op.60」, for both the organ and pedal piano is composed by the inspiration of Johann Sebastian Bach(1685∼1750).This piece contains the B-A-C-H theme throughout. The Theme reflects simple imitation, reduction in imitation, contrary motion, and stretto. And the 2nd ,4th, and 6th fugue is formed as a double fugue. Schumann's compositions, in the organ during the Romantic Era have been greatly influenced by J. S. Bach. But, Schumann expressed himself more freely in his work.
