Exact Armitage's trend에서 검정력과 표본 크기에 대한 고찰

Abstract

표본의 크기가 작아 검정 통계량의 근사분포의 정확성이 의심스러울 경우, 정확검정이 사용된다. 정확검정의 장점은 1종 오류 확률이 항상 유의수준보다 작거나 같음을 보장해 준다는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 StatXact를 활용하여 α, k, p, γ의 값을 변경시키면서 정화검정과 근사검정에서의 power와 표본크기의 변화에 대해 고찰해본다. ;When the sample size is small, exact tests are often employed becatuse the asymptotic distribution of the test statistic is in double. The advantage of exact tests is that it is guaranteed th bound the type I error probability to the nominal level. Using StatXact, we analyze power and sample size when α, k, p, γ are changed. Surprisingly, we got the result that power and sample size of the exact test is not similar to those of asymptotic test.
