중등학교 홈페이지 평가요소 분석 및 평가모형 개발

Abstract

2001년부터 교육부에서는 교육정보화 정책 실현의 방안으로 학교 홈페이지의 구축을 촉구해왔다. 그 결과 현재, 서울시내에 홈페이지를 구축하고 있는 중등학교 수는 전체의 96%를 넘고 있다. 이는 대부분의 중등학교가 학교와 학교 밖을 연계하는 수단으로 홈페이지를 이용하고 있음을 보여준다. 학교 홈페이지는 오프라인상의 학교에서 할 수 없는 다른 여러 서비스들을 제공해 준다. 본래의 목적인 정보를 제공하거나, 학습을 보충해 주는 기능뿐만 아니라 오프라인상에서는 대립하기 쉬운 학교의 모든 구성원들(교사, 학생, 학부모)을 가상의 공간에 응집시켜 주는 역할을 한다. 즉, 학교 홈페이지의 의의는 온라인상의 또 하나의 학교의 역할을 하는데 있다. 그러나 실제로 현재 운영되고 있는 학교 홈페이지들을 방문해보면 상당수의 홈페이지가 학교 홈페이지로서의 기능을 제대로 하지 못하고 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 많은 학교 홈페이지들이 제 기능을 하지 못하고 있는 데는 여러 가지 원인이 있지만 그 근본 원인은 홈페이지를 평가할 수 있는 평가모형이 없는데서 기인한다. 다시 말해, 현재 운영되고 있는 학교 홈페이지들이 학교 기능 측면의 구성요소와 홈페이지 사용자 측면의 구성요소를 모두 제대로 갖추고 있는지 판단할 수 있는 기준이 없는 것이다. 또한, 학교 홈페이지에 대한 평가가 이루어지고 있지 않기 때문에 운영·관리상 소홀해 지기 쉽다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 바람직한 학교 홈페이지는 어떤 내용과 기능으로 구성되어야 하는가를 살펴보고, 이를 기반으로 학교 홈페이지 평가항목과 평가지표를 포함한 총체적인 평가모형을 개발하였다. 본 연구는 학교 홈페이지 평가모형에 관한 선행연구가 없기에 더욱 의미가 있다. 이 평가 모형은 학교 홈페이지를 평가 할 때뿐만 아니라 홈페이지를 제작, 운영·관리할 때도 지침으로 활용할 수 있다.;Since 2001, the Ministry of Education in Korea has urged to construct a homepage of each school in order to fulfill the policy of the information-oriented education. As a result, more than 96% of secondary schools in Seoul have their own homepage. A homepage in a school has a original role of providing information and making-up school studies. Moreover, it extends its role to gather all the members of a school(teachers, students and parents of students) together in a homepage and provide a field of education for them. In other words, a home page in a school is like another school with on-line system. But a lot of home pages in schools don't function well. There must be a lot of reason for that. But the fundamental reason is that there is no criterion of estimate a homepage. The criterion based on a standard model provides the foundation for estimating that each homepage of each school has constituents of the function of a school and constituents of the users well. In order to examine the right contents and functions for the desirable homepage of a school, this thesis extracts criteria from many homepages that are working now and separates evaluation items into 5 ones based on the previous researches. Based on the 5 evaluation items, this thesis substitutes and applies the extracted criteria from the viewpoints of the function of a school and of the users. Based on the result, it develops a standard model including criteria and evaluation items for a school homepage. A result from this proposed model describes various components of a homepage into numbers and suggests some points to be repaired. The proposed model will be expanded to apply those functions to redesign works and to reorganize the existing homepage.
