dc.description.abstractCulture of the nation derives from the unique emotion of the nation, and the development method of the history of the occurs in the relation between the emotion of a nation and the environment of the time. The basic mode of each nation is the culture, and the basic consciousness of value or the determination of the culture is the emotion of a nation. Nation and culture are affected by the geographical, social and religious unconscious behavior in common. Such national emotion also appears in the symbolic system that the nation has. Man has a desire to express his spiritual world to outside, and he uses symbols when he cannot express them directly, and the history of symbol os from the origin of a nation. Symbols are expressed in different way according to the emotion of a nation, but they communicate each other even the emotion of one nation differs from that of other nation. As such, symbols contain common factors although the culture and mode of living among nations differ one another. The symbolic system contained in the emotion of a nation is a culturalelement has been existing in the hearts of a nation for hundreds of years. The nature have become an important material of all poetry literaturesince human history. Especially in the orient, the people did not recognize the nature as the object of conquest and pursuit harmonious living of commercialism together it. So it has become he most important material of poetry. Our Korean ode(Si Jo) also have wide materials of nature such as flowers, moon, water, mountain, birds, tree etc. Among them, birds have a beautiful figure and crying, so it was often used in many poetry. This thesis is designed for the proposition that any form of art orworks are some sort of language in broad senses, it has an meaning in order to try to interpret in own way a Korean aesthetic value with moon and bird. In a concrete way, the purpose of this paper is to look for poetic image in Korean poetry. ;모든 민족의 문화는 그 민족 고유의 정서에서 파생되며, 역사의 전개 양식은 민족의 정서와 시대적 환경의 관계에서 생긴다. 각 민족의 기본적 존재 양식은 곧 문화이며, 그 문화의 기본적인 가치의식 또는 문화의 의지가 민족의 정서이다. 민족 문화는 지리학적, 사회, 문화적, 종교적 배경의 영향을 받아 민족마다 그 고유한 문화가 형성되며, 문화는 민족의 집단 무의식적인 행동이 공통으로 담겨있다. 이러한 민족적인 정서는 그 민족이 지니고 있는 상징체계에도 나타난다. 인간은 정신세계를 밖으로 표출하고자 하는 욕구를 가지고 있는데 이것을 직접적으로 표현할 수 없을 때 상징을 사용하게 되며, 상징의 역사는 그 민족의 시원(始原)에까지 올라가는 뿌리깊은 원인을 가진다. 상징은 민족 정서에 따라 다르게 나타나기도 하며, 민족정서가 달라도 같은 맥락으로 통하기도 한다. 이렇듯 생활 풍습이 다른 민족이라도 함께 공유하는 보편적 의미가 존재한다. 한 민족의 정서가 지니고 있는 상징체계는 수년 동안 살아오면서 그 민족의 마음속에 내재해 있는 문화의 요소이다. 자연은 인류 역사이래 모든 시가 문학의 중요한 상징적 소재가 되어왔다. 특히 자연을 정복의 대상으로 인식하지 않고 자연과 더불어 공생의 조화로운 삶을 꾀해 온 동양에서는 더욱 그러하였다. 우리 고시조 역시 꽃, 달, 물, 산, 새, 나무 등 폭넓은 자연소재가 등장하는데, 우리 민족의 영원한 '하늘의 벗' 인 달은 시대적 환경이나 개인적 체험에 의해 그 이미지가 다양하게 변모되고 있지만, 순박한 종교적 심성에 기초한 초월적 이미지는 한국인에게 지속되고 있었다. 또한 새는 그 아름다운 자태와 울음으로 인하여 많은 시조에서 즐겨 이용되었다. 본 논문에서는 넓은 의미의 언어, 특히 예술작품이 하나의 언어라는 전제를 가지고 한국인에게 특별한 존재였던 '달'과 '새'라는 문학적 질료를 통해, 크게는 우리민족의 정한의 맥락을 하나의 이미지로 나타내 보는데 있으며, 구체적으로는 한국 시가에 나타난 시적 이미지를 고찰하여 보는데 있다.-
