중학생의 개인.사회적, 심리적 변인과 진로성숙간의 관계

Abstract

이 연구에서는 중학생의 개인ㆍ사회적, 심리적 변인과 진로성숙간의 관계를 밝혀 청소년을 위한 올바른 학교 현장에서의 진로지도와 진로프로그램의 개발 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 측정 도구로는 진로성숙을 측정하기 위해 한국직업능력개발원(2001)에서 개발한 4개 하위 영역의 54개 문항을 사용하였다. 자기통제력 측정을 위해 송원영(1998)이 자기통제 척도를 자기 보고형으로 수정 제작한 척도를 사용하였다. 연구 대상은 서울시내 E 중학교 2, 3학년 396명으로 남자 196명, 여자 200명이었다. 연구결과 중학생의 개인ㆍ사회적, 심리적 변인과 진로 성숙간의 관계는 다음과 같이 나타났다. 첫째, 중학생들의 진로성숙은 학년별 차이는 유의미하지 않았으나 성별에서는 남자보다 여자가 진로성숙에서 더 관련이 있었다. 둘째, 진로성숙과 성적은 긍정적인 유의미한 관계가 있었다. 셋째, 사회경제적 수준과 진로성숙은 2번, 5번, 1번에 응답한 순서로 유의미한 관계가 있었다. 넷째, 진로성숙과 자기통제와의 관계에서 자기통제력이 높을수록 진로성숙 역시 높음을 확인할 수 있었다. 다섯째, 학년ㆍ성별ㆍ성적ㆍ사회 경제적 수준ㆍ자기 통제력 요인과 진로성숙과의 상호 상관에서는 학년과 성별, 학년과 사회경제, 성별과 사회경제는 의미가 없었으나 성별과 성적, 자기통제와 성적, 성적과 진로성숙, 자기 통제와 진로성숙은 상관관계가 있었다. 학년 ㆍ 성별 ㆍ 성적 ㆍ 사회 경제적 수준 ㆍ 자기 통제력 요인과 진로성숙의 상대적 예측력은 자기통제, 성적, 성별의 순으로 나타났다. ;The purpose of this research was to suggest the direction of the development of appropriate career counseling and career program for adolescence in school system by identifying the relationship between middle school student's individual, social, psychological factor and career maturity. 54 items in 4 sub-dimensions developed by Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education & Training(2001) were used as a measurement instrument for career maturity. For measuring self-regulation, revised form of self-regulation scale, revised by Won-young Song(1998) as a self-report scale, was used. Subjects were 396 juniors and seniors in E middle school in Seoul. 196 of them were male, and 200 were female. The result of middle school student's individual, social, psychological factor and career maturity is as following. Firstly, middle school student's career maturity showed no significant difference among juniors and seniors but regarding sex, male students were more related to career maturity than female students in career maturity. Secondly, career maturity and academic achievement had positive significant relationship. Thirdly,social economic status and career maturity had significant relationship responding in the order of number 2, 5, and 1. Fourth, in the relationship between career maturity and self-regulation, it was identified that if self-regulation was higher, career maturity was also higher. Fifth, in inter-correlation between grade, sex, academic achievement, social economic status, self-regulation factor and career maturity, there was no significance between grade and sex, grade and social economic status, sex and social economic status, but there was significant correlation between sex and academic achievement, self-regulation and academic achievement, academic achievement and career maturity, self-regulation and career maturity. Relative predictability of grade, sex, academic achievement, social economic status, self-regulation factor and career maturity was self-regulation, grading and sex in order.
