dc.description.abstract본 연구에서는 Hexarhenium chalcogenides cluster를 포함하고 있는 다양한 화합물의 합성, 구조의 분석과 물리적 성질규명에 대해 논하였다. Hexarhenium chalcogenides cluster를 포함하는 다양한 화합물들에 대한 연구는 현재에도 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이러한 hexarhenium chalcogenides cluster들은 octahedral rhenium cluster Re_(6) [Re_(6)Q_(8)]^(2+) (Q = S, Se, Te) unit가 chalcogenides로 face-capped되어 pseudocube를 형성하고, 음이온 bridging ligands (e.g. CN^(-), PR_(3), X^(-), neutral solvent) 들이 octahedron 의 6개의 모서리에 붙어서 [Re_(6)Q_(8)(L)_(6)]^(4-) type cluster를 만든다. 본 연구는 이러한 cluster를 포함하는 5가지의 새로운 compound를 합성하고 그 물리적 성질을 X-Ray crystallography와 그 밖의 다양한 방법으로 규명하였다. 이 5가지의 새로운 compound는 다음과 같다. [Mn(TDC)]_(4)[Re_(6)Se_(8)CN]_(6)] (1), {[Ir(CO)(PPh_(3))_(3)]_(6) [Re_(6)Te_(8)(CN)_(6)]}(OTf)_(2) (2), [Mn(II)(DMF)_(3)]_(2)[Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)] (3), [MV^(2+)][Mn(II)(CH_(3)OH)_(2)][Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)] (4),[H_(2)TMB^(2+)][Mn(II)(CH_(3)OH)_(2)][Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)](5). [Mn(TDC)]_(4)[Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)](1) 는 기존에 발표되었던 cluster-supported manganese porphyrin에 대한 다른 연구들과는 달리, cluster와 porphyrin이 cyano group을 통해 공유 결합을 형성하지 않고, 4개의 [Mn(TDC)]^(+) 양이온이 떨어진 상태로 cluster와 charge balance를 맞추는 구조를 가지고 있다. {[Ir(CO)(PPh_(3))_(3)]6[Re_(6)Te_(8)(CN)_(6)]}(OTf)_(2) (2) 는 6개의 Ir(CO)(PPh_(3))_(2) unit가 [Re_(6)Te_(8)(CN)_(6)]^(4-) cluster와 결합함으로써 multi-catalytic sites를 가지게 되어 촉매 활성이 Iridium 화합물 자체만의 활성보다 더 좋아지는 결과를 보여주고 있다. [Mn(II)(DMF)_(3)]_(2)[Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)](3) 는 두 개의[Mn(II)(DMF)_(3)]^(2+)양이온이 [Re_(6)Te_(8)(CN)_(6)]^(4-) cluster와 결합하여 3차원 구조를 형성한다. 다양한 polar solvent로 동일한 연구를 진행하여 이러한 구조들이 solvent에 의해 control이 됨을 확인하였다. [MV^(2+)][Mn(II)(CH_(3)OH)_(2)][Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)](4) 와[H_(2)TMB^(2+)][Mn(II)(CH_(3)OH)_(2)][Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)](5) 는 한 개의 [Mn(II)(CH _(3)OH)_(2)]^(2+) 양이온이 [Re_(6)Te_(8)(CN)_(6)]^(4-) cluster과 연결되어 2-D layered host structure를 만든다. 이 layer 사이에 guest molecules로 들어간 methyl viologen dication ( MV^(2+))를 N,N,N,N-tetramethylbenzidine (H_(2)TMB^(2+))과 바꿈으로써 host-guest사이의 interaction이 증가하는 것을 확인하였다.;We reported the various hexarhenium chalcogenides cluster contained compounds. Molecular hexarhenium chalcogenides clusters are composed of octahedral rhenium cluster Re_(6) face-capped with chalcogenides [Re_(6)Q_(8)]^(2+) (Q = S, Se, Te) to form pseudocube and the anion bridging ligands (e.g. CN^(-), PR_(3), X^(-), neutral solvent) attached on six corners of octahedron to form [Re_(6)Q_(8)(L)_(6)]^(4-) type. Herein we reported the preparation, X-ray structure and characterization of the five new compounds, which are [Mn(TDC)]_(4)[Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)] (1),{[Ir(CO)(PPh_(3))_(3)]_(6)[Re_(6)Te_(8)(CN)_(6)]}(OTf)_(2) (2), [Mn(II)(DMF)_(3)]_(2)[Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)] (3), [MV^(2+)][Mn(II)(CH_(3)OH)_(2)][Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)] (4), [H_(2)TMB^(2+)][Mn(II)(CH_(3)OH)_(2)][Re_(6)Se(CN)_(6)](5). The crystal structure of Mn(TDC)-hexarhenium cluster salt is determined in which four Mn(TDC)^(+) cations balance the charge with a Re cluster anion, without bonding between the cyano group of a [Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)]^(4-) anion. We synthesized a unique nano-size molecule, [Te_(8)(Re-CN-Ir(H)_(2)(CO)(PPh_(3))_(2))_(6)](OTf)_(2), with multi-catalytic sites attached on [Re_(6)Te_(8)(CN)_(6)]^(4-) cluster. Six Ir(CO)(PPh_(3))_(2) units are connected to cyano groups of the Re_(6) cluster and this compound (2) shows better catalytic activity than iridium(I) complex for hydrogenation of 4-ethynyltoluene. This result demonstrates that the Re_(6) cluster can be used as a supporting material for various effective catalysts by offering multi-active. Extended three-dimensional structure, [Mn(II)(DMF)_(3)]_(2)[Re_(6)Se_(8)(CN)_(6)](3) was connected two [Mn(II)(DMF)_(3)]^(2+)cations attached on [Re_(6)Te_(8)(CN)_(6)]^(4-) cluster. This structure was controlled the variety of the solvent such as DMF, NMF and MeOH. In addition, we synthesized a new hexanuclear rhenium cluster compound connected by [Mn(II)(CH_(3)OH)_(2)]^(2+)cations. The structure is 2-D layered structure intercalated with a strong electron acceptor methyl viologen dication (MV^(2+)). We could exchange the guest molecules from-
