韓國女高生의 價値觀에 關한 硏究

Abstract

Ⅰ. Objecty of Research. Facing the rapid and drastic change of the world situation, our Korea acutely needs racial independence consciousness from the people. In order to establish independence consciousness and construct a desirable society, it is necessary for purl people to have just and right value consciousness, sound spiritual attitude. Since Korea was liberated in 1945, Korean women have deserted their traditional view of value in which their activities were restricted only to their home and expanded their activites to political, economic, social and cultural fields. Considering that such women's activities and view of value have affected social and cultural progress to a great extent, it would be an important task for us to accurately grasp the view of value of high school girls students who are immatured but will play important role for our nation in the future. This research aims at the following objectives : 1. Grasping the view of value of high school girl students who will play leading role for the progress of our politics, economics, society and culture in the future. 2. Seeking for a new trend of view of value of the students by examining the improvement of women's status and the problem of women education. Ⅱ. Research Method In the first place, the concept for the view of value and historical development of Korean women's view of value, were examined, and the present problems of Korean women education's were investigated. In the second place, in order to grasp the view of value of present high school girl students, a questionaire was arranged and a survey with high school girl students according to the questionaire. The questionaire applied to this survey, was composed of 35 questions covering the view of the five fields for social, economic, family, moral, educational and religious values. The survey subjects were 600 girl students selected randomly from among the students of 8 girls high schools in Seoul and rural area(Two liberal art and science schools Seoul, two industrial high schools in Seoul, two liberal art and science high schools in rural area and two industrial high schools in rural area). Most of the survey subjects were chiefly selected from among 8th graders, because 9th graders were busy with their preparation for their college entrance examination and 7th graders were immatured. The results of the survey were treated to produce percentage ratio for each question, the characteristics of each school was analyzed and the analysis was compared by school and region. Ⅲ. Conclusion The results of the survey shows the consciousness of value and thinking trend of Korean high school girl students as follows : 1. They recognize the peculiar situation of Korea, keenly understand the necessity to establish an independent view of nation, make efforts to love their mother country rather than envy other advanced countries, and want to make our country as a sound society by cleaning up dishonesty, injustice, irregularities and corruption. 2. They have got out of Korean traditional women's view of value in which self devotional sacrifice is highly emphasize for their husbands and children as a wise mother and good wife, and strongly supported self-centered rational individualism. Such attitude was maintained also with economic matters and love affairs. 3. They generally showed affirmative reaction with religious problems, have tried to believe in the power and order of the All Mighty and to accept religious faith and teachings in human life for the peace of their life. Considering the above analysis, the prospect is generally bright. They think that our society should adopt an effective educational policy to cultivate good women who can contribute some merits to progress and development of our country and society, because education is a long range program as government's important mission.;Ⅰ. 硏究의 目的 오늘날 우리韓國은 急激히 變化하고 있는 世界 情勢의 소용돌이 속에서 民族自立 意識이 强力히 要請되는 特殊한 狀況에 處하여 있다. 따라서 主體性을 確立하고 바람직한 社會를 이룩하기 위해서는 젊은이들의 올바른 價値意識과 精神姿勢가 必要하다고 생각한다. 특히 解放後 自由民主主義社會로 접어들면서 부터 韓國女性들은 傳統的 價値觀에서 脫皮하여 女性活動을 家庭生活에만 局限시키지 않고 政治, 經濟, 社會, 文化등 各 方面으로 넓혀 나갔다. 이러한 女性들의 活動과 價値觀은 社會文化의 進步發展에 많은 影響을 주고 있다는 點을 감안할때, 아직 未成熟하나마 將來 國家運命을 雙肩에 짊어질 女高生들의 價値觀을 把握한다는 것은 매우 重要한 課題라고 생각한다. 그러므로 本論文은 첫째로, 將來 中極的인 女性指導者가 될 女高生들의 價値觀을 把握하고 둘째로, 女性의 地位向上과 關聯해서 女性敎育의 問題點을 考察하므로서 앞으로 定立되어야 할 새로운 價値觀의 方向을 摸索하여함이 主要目的이라 하겠다. Ⅱ. 硏究方法 먼저 文獻硏究를 通해서 價値觀에 關한 槪念規定과 오늘날 까지의 韓國女性의 價値觀의 흐름을 考察하고 現 韓國敎育의 問題點을 살펴 보았으며, 다음으로, 現 女高生의 價値觀을 把握하기 위해 質問紙法으로 現地調査를 實施하였다. 本調査에서 使用한 質問紙는 社會的 價値觀, 經濟的 價値觀, 家族的 價値觀, 道德觀, 敎育 宗敎觀의 五個 領域에 걸쳐 總 三五個의 價値觀에 關한 質問으로 구성되어 있다. 調査對象이 되는 學校로서 서울과 農村地域의 女子高等學校 八個學校 (서울의 人文系, 實業系 各 2個校와 農村의 人文系, 實業系 各 2個校)를 여러 가지 事情을 考慮, 任意選定하여 主로 二學年 學生 六百名을 被調査者로 삼았는데, 그 理由로서는 三學年 學生들은 入試關係로 因해 面接하기가 어려웠고, 또 1學年學生들은 아직 知性과 經驗의 未熟함을 考慮하지 않을 수 없었기 때문이다. 現地調査에서 얻은 資料의 處理方法으로서는 主로 各質問別 百分比를 産出하여 分析解釋하였으며, 아울러 地域別 및 學校性格別로 나누어 그 意味를 比較分析하였다. Ⅲ. 結論 調査結果로 나타난 現 韓國女高生의 價値意識과 思考의 方向을 集約的으로 表現한다면, 첫째, 韓國의 特殊한 狀況을 認識하고, 主體性있는 國家觀確立의 必要性을 절감하고 있으며, 先進國에 對한 지나친 동경보다 스스로 비판하고 評價하려는 態度로서 祖國을 사랑하는 마음을 가지려는 努力을 엿 볼 수 있었으며, 正直하고 不條理가 없는 健全한 社會를 要求하므로서 不正 腐敗가 없는 바른 社會를 원하고 있다. 둘째, 전통적 女性觀인 自己儀性的 思考에서 脫皮하여 自身의 生活과 個人主義思考方式으로 흐르고 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 이러한 態度는 經濟觀은 물론이고 愛情觀에서도 나타나고 있다. 셋째, 宗敎的인 問題에 관해서는 大體로 肯定的인 反應을 보여 超越者의 힘과 秩序를 믿을려하고 있으며, 人間의 生活에 宗敎的인 信仰과 敎訓을 받아들임으로서 생활의 안정을 가지려는 態度가가 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이와같이 볼때, 大體로 將來에 밝은 展望을 期待할 수 있으리라 보며, 또한 敎育은 國家의 百年之大計인만큼 보다 나은 來日을 위해서 效果的인 敎育方法으로 훌륭한 資質의 女性들을 育成시켜 國家와 社會에 보탬이 되도록 努力할 使命을 우리 社會는 지니고 있다고 생각한다.
