현대자수 표현의 형상화 연구

Abstract

대상의 이미지에 보다 가까이 접근하려는 일루전(Illusion)미학이 르네상스 이래 근대 사실주의에까지 이어져 왔으나 세계대전이라는 전쟁의 시대적 상황 속에서 세계란 대상 이외에 아무것도 아니라는 의식 즉 상(Illusion)은 분명히 허상이라는 근본적인 자각이 일어났다. 이로써 대상과 이미지 사이의 인습적인 관계를 수정하고 온갖 속성에서 벗어나 가장 원초적이고 근원적인 상태의 오브제가 출현하게 된다. 결국 오브제 미술은 일상생활 속에서 사물을 선택 결정하여 물체가 갖는 목적과 기능이 제거되어 있는 그대로의 모습이 예술작품에 도입되는 것을 말한다. 꼴라쥬의 형태로 처음 등장하는 오브제는 큐비즘에서 시작되어 다다이즘 쉬르레알리즘을 거쳐 팝미술의 콤바인 회화에 이르기까지 다양한 형태로 발전을 이루어 20세기에 등장하는 미술사조는 대부분 오브제 개념에서 비롯되거나 영향을 받았다고 해도 과언이 아닐 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 현대미술사조에서 핵심적인 존재가 분명한 오브제 의식이 현대미술의 영역 속에 들어와 미술의 구조와 성격을 새로운 길로 방향 전환시킨 만큼 현대자수에서 다양한 소재와 폭 넓은 표현양식을 제공한 오브제의 양상에 대해 살펴보고자 한다.;An illusion aesthetics which close to the actual image of things had been continued from Renaissance to the modernism period. After the world war, however, it was believed that there was nothing but a real thing existed in the world, so to speak, illusion was just considered as the virtual image. Thus, the conventional relation between things and originative conditions were matured. Under this circumstances. the object came out. The object art is to choose things from our everyday life and to use them as what they are into the work of art, eliminating their actual purposes and functions. It was firstly introduced in cubism as a form of collage and have been flourished in various shapes through dadaism, surrealism, and even pop art combine painting. And, it is obvious that the object concept must give some influences to most of Art in 20th century directly of indirectly. I am convinced that the object is a significant concept to alter the structures and characteristics of modern art into a new formation. Hence, my study focuses on several aspects of the object which supply various subjects and expression ways to the modern embroidery.
