물고기 形態를 통한 陶磁表現硏究

Abstract

粘土에 의한 陶磁藝術은 3차원의 空間藝術로 有形의 世界이다. 모든 形體는 모(角), 동그라미(圓), 줄(線) 등의 要素로 構成된 하나의 模樣으로 볼 수 있다. 人間은 創造를 통하여 自然 속에서 自身을 發見할 수 있었고, 또한 自身 속에서 自然을 發見할 수 있었던 것이다. 물고기가 象形의 對象으로 登場하기 시작한 것은 原始 漁撈生活에서부터 비롯되며, 古今을 통해 물고기는 人間의 生活과 밀접한 관계를 진다. 물고기 形態는 항상 原始的인 生命力을 지니고 있으며, 때로는 抽象性을 통해 生命力을 나타냈던 原始藝術의 엄숙하고도 表現의 장난스러움으로 藝術的 鄕愁에 잠기게 한다. 本 硏究에서는 보다 적극적으로, 生動하는 生命의 이미지로서의 물고기 形態에 對한 解析을 試圖하고저 한다. 그리고 흙을 素材로 한 陶磁藝術에서 흙이 가지고 있는 可塑性을 광범위하게 應用하여, 물고기의 緊要한 要素를 抽出해서 自律的인 3차원의 形態로 形象化하고저 한다. 陶磁藝術은 어디까지나 工藝라는 점을 들어 그것의 美感과 아울러 결코 實用性을 소홀히 해서는 안된다. 최근 경향 중의 하나가 陶磁藝術이 實用의 本來 目的은 무시하고 다만 오브제(object)로서만 製作되어지는 경향이 있다. 本 硏究에서는 生活相의 用途를 의식하면서 生活 속에서 實用性과 함께 아름다움이 깃든 陶磁作業을 試圖하여, 그 用途를 意識하면서 새로운 이미지를 追求하려고 한다.;The work of Ceramic Art made with clay is a certain tangible world and it can be regarded as thid-dimensional self-regulating spatial art. Every shapes are shown with their materials such as angle, circle, and line. Human beings have been able to recognized themselves being in Nature by way of work of creation, and furthermore to understand Nature through the recognized human life. Fish design has been used as the symbolic object in Ceramic Art since primitive fishing age, and closely connected with Human daily life. Therefore, fish design generally shows its own vitality. Its symbolic intention enables us to feel the serious and expressive humourous mood of primitive art. In this study, the explanation of fish design as a animational life-image has been put into practice. Also, the variable usage of clay which is the main material of Ceramic Art has been widely applied. The forming work the third-dimensional self-regulating from has been performed. It is note-worthy that Ceramic Art has not only an aesthetic sense but also the practical sense. The recent Ceramic Art tends to be done only for object disregarding its own practical purpose. So it should be Lacked in practical expenditure. It should be pursued to perform Ceramic Art maintaining both aesthetic and practical senses, which can be good harmonized in our daily life.
