植物 形態를 通한 陶磁表現

Abstract

自然은 人間과 分離될 수 없는 自我存在의 認識體로 예로부터 人間의 끊임없는 關心對象 中의 하나이다. 특히 變化하는 自然의 現象物들은 無限한 生命感과 存在感을 付與하기에 東西古今을 莫論한 수 많은 藝術家들은 自然物의 形態를 藝術表現의 素材로 삼아 造形化하였다. 自然界의 現象物 中 植物의 形態는 豊饒와 生殖의 吉祥的 內容과 함께 源泉的인 生命力을 內在하는 象徵物로 그 性格이나 形象에 있어 無限한 生命感을 가진다. 그러므로 本 硏究는 多樣한 形態追求를 위한 素材로 植物을 設定하여 有機的 形態에 의한 植物의 構造的 特性을 陶藝로써 造形化하는데 그 目的이 있다. 이를 위한 理論的 背景으로 自然과 藝術을 美學的 立場에서 考察해보며 植物의 生態的 特性을 通해 一般的인 形과 構造로 抽象化시켜 表現하여 본다. 또한 過去와 現在에 表現된 植物形態의 陶磁를 통해 東·西洋의 2가지 側面에서 再照明하여 봄으로써 作品의 根據로 삼고자 한다. 作品의 表現形態는 植物形態가 갖는 有機的 特性 및 構造的 特質에 準하여 種子·發茅 꽃의 開花·줄기·잎의 形態的 特性을 各 段階마다의 形態特性에 附合시켜 造形化하였다. 이를 위한 方法으로 석고틀에 의한 泥奬注入成形을 主로 하여 물레에 의한 성형, 粘土덩이를 이용한 덩어리成形, 粘土板에 의한 板成形 등 複合的 成形方法을 竝用하여 植物의 多樣한 形態를 立體的으로 造形化 하였다.;Nature has been one of the interesting things which have been inseparable from human beings, so human beings found himself in it Especially in giving a eternal life sence to the changeing nature phenomenon, many artists in all ages and countries modeled nature forms with a material of artistic expression. Among the nature forms, the plant from has a symbol which contains the orginal life in the character and forms, as well as it's richness and life. Therefore, this study is picked up plant with a material of various formal pursuit and it aimed at modeling the structural character with ceramics. Here I've searched for the nature and art in the face of aesthetics as this theoretical background. Also I expressed them as a general form and structure through the biomorphic characters of plant. I tried to have a base of my works through the ceramics with plant form expressed in the east and the west as well as all ages. For this forming process, I used a complex casting method which were composed of wheel forming, modeling and slab builing as well as a method of production in the slip casting used a gesso mould, so various plant forms were formed structurally.
