국제결혼 이주여성의 생활만족도에 관한 연구

Abstract

Lately, an interest and study regarding international marriage of women immigrants are progressed actively in social welfare fields. But while earlier studies mainly focus on their present situations, the realities and culture adaption stress, the studies didn't make a comprehensive approach concerning the general life satisfaction which their social support and social participation affect. So this study aims to find out what kind of difference there is to life satisfaction according to social support and social participation to international marriage of women immigrants and to grasp how population sociological characteristic, social support and social participation can have an effect on the life satisfaction to them. The findings of this study is done by 128 international marriage of women immigrants along with Chinese, Korean and English questionnaires. First, there will be a difference to life satisfaction according to population sociological characteristic of an international marriage of woman immigrant. As age is low, and a marriage period is short, and Korean residential periods is few, and educational level is low, there are no religions and they have their occupations, their life satisfaction shows high. Also as monthly income high, it shows meaningful difference statistically. When Korean listening, reading and writing ability are high, their life satisfaction to korean ability also shows high. When the efforts for understanding their surrounding mother country are high, their life satisfaction to the efforts for understanding their surrounding mother country also show high. It shows meaningful difference statistically. Second, there will be a difference to life satisfaction according to social support of an international marriage of woman immigrant. As emotional , informational, estimative and material support are high, their life satisfaction shows high. And as overall support is high, their life satisfaction also shows high. it shows meaningful difference statistically. Third, there will be a difference to life satisfaction according to social participation of an international marriage of woman immigrant. When social participation frequency is high, social activities participation types are few, and positive aptitude for social participation is high, their satisfaction of social participation show high. And life satisfaction of overall social participation is high when overall social activities are many. Forth, population sociological characteristic of international marriage of women immigrants will have an effect on life satisfaction. As speaking ability is high, life satisfaction is low and as listening ability is high, life satisfaction is high. Fifth, social support and social participation international marriage of women immigrants will have an effect on life satisfaction. Also, of social supports as estimative support is high, life satisfaction shows high. Besides as positive attitude about social participation is high, life satisfaction shows high. If we look into the correlation of Korean ability, social support and social activities participation, social participation becomes high as korean ability becomes high. the results say as age is low, and a marriage period is short, and Korean residential periods is few, and educational level is low, there are no religions and they have their occupations, their life satisfaction shows high. Also, as a result of regression analysis operated by four steps for looking into the effects which Korean ability, social support and social activity participation have on life satisfaction, the change value shows meaningful statistically. The number of an international marriage of woman immigrant will increase constantly and the solutions about social problems and needs for future international marriage of woman immigrant will be more various and require more higher levels. If this survey on life satisfaction which focus on social support and social participation of an international marriage of woman immigrant has the influence, it will be a basic data regarding international marriages for their successful Korean life settlement. Also when the institutional efforts of supporting suitable programs and developing activity area which they can take part in social activities aggressively are carried out, they will be able to find out the meaning of the happiness by overcoming various difficulties and adapting themselves to our circumstances.;국내의 국제결혼 이주여성에 대한 연구로 사회복지분야에서는 국제결혼 이주여성에 대한 관심과 연구가 최근 들어서 활발하게 진행되고 있어 앞선 연구들이 주로 국제결혼 이주여성의 현황 및 실태, 문화적응 스트레스를 중심으로 국제결혼 이주여성을 중심을 문제점 및 현황에 대해 연구되었는데 비해 이들의 사회적 지지, 사회참여가 미치는 전반적인 생활만족도에 대해서는 종합적으로 접근하지 못하였다. 이에 본 연구는 국제결혼 이주여성을 대상으로 사회적 지지와 사회참여를 중심으로 따른 생활만족도에 어떠한 차이가 있는지 밝혀보고 인구사회학적 특성과 사회적 지지, 사회참여가 생활만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 파악하는데 그 목적이 있다. 국제결혼 이주여성 128명을 대상으로 중국어, 한국어, 영어 설문지를 병행하여 조사를 진행한 본 연구의 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국제결혼 이주여성의 인구사회학적 특성에 따라 생활만족도에 차이가 있을 것이다. 생활만족도를 보면 연령이 낮을수록, 결혼 기간에 짧을수록, 한국 거주 기간이 적을수록, 교육수준이 낮을수록, 종교는 무교일 경우, 직업이 있는 경우가 생활만족도가 높게 나타났으며, 월소득은 고소득이 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 한국어 능력에 따른 생활만족도는 듣기 능력이 상인 경우, 읽기 능력이 상인 경우, 쓰기 능력이 상인 경우가 만족도가 높게 나타났다. 주변의 모국 문화 이해 노력에 따른 생활만족도는 주변의 모국문화 이해 노력이 상인 경우가 높게 나타났고 이는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 국제결혼 이주여성의 사회적 지지에 따라 생활만족도에 차이가 있을 것이다. 정서적 지지에 따른 생활만족도는 정서적 지지가 높을수록, 정보적 지지가 높을수록, 평가적 지지가 높을수록, 물질적 지지가 높을수록 생활만족도가 높게 나타났으며, 전체적 지지에 따른 생활만족도는 전체적 지지가 높을수록 만족도가 더 높게 나타났으며 이는 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 국제결혼 이주여성의 사회참여에 따라 생활만족도에 차이가 있을 것이다. 사회참여 빈도에 따른 생활만족도는 사회참여 빈도가 높은 경우, 사회활동 참여 종류가 적은 경우, 사회참여시 긍정적 태도가 높은 경우, 사회참여 만족도가 높은 경우 생활만족도가 높게 나타났다. 전체 사회참여에 따른 생활만족도는 전체 사회활동이 많은 경우 생활만족도가 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 국제결혼 이주여성의 인구사회학적 특성은 생활만족도에 영향을 미칠 것이다. 한국어 능력이 생활만족도에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 말하기 능력이 높을수록 생활만족도가 낮아지고, 듣기 능력이 높을수록 생활만족도가 높아짐을 알 수 있다. 다섯째, 국제결혼 이주여성의 사회적 지지, 사회참여는 생활만족도에 영향을 미칠 것이다. 사회적 지지가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향은 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 사회적 지지 중 평가적 지지가 높을수록 생활만족도가 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. 사회참여가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향은 사회참여에 대한 긍정적 태도가 높을수록 생활만족도가 높아짐을 알 수 있다. 한국어 능력, 사회적 지지, 사회 활동 참여, 생활만족도의 상관관계를 살펴보면 한국어 능력이 높아질수록 사회 참여가 높아진다. 연령이 낮을수록, 결혼 기간이 낮을수록, 한국 거주 기간이 낮을수록, 주변의 모국문화 이해 노력이 높을수록, 사회적 지지가 높아질수록 생활만족도가 높아짐을 알 수 있었다. 또한 한국어능력, 사회적 지지, 사회 활동 참여가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위하여 4가지 모형으로 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 그 변화치는 통계적으로 유의하게 나타났다. 앞으로도 국제결혼 이주여성의 증가는 계속될 것이며 미래 국제결혼 이주여성이 가지는 사회적 문제와 욕구에 대한 해결 방법은 더 다양해지고 높은 수준을 원하게 될 것이다. 이에 국제결혼 이주여성의 사회적 지지와 사회참여를 중심으로 생활만족도를 조사하여 영향력이 있다면 이들의 성공적인 한국생활 정착을 위한 국제결혼 관련 기초 자료를 제시할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 국제결혼 이주여성이 적극적으로 사회활동에 참여할 수 있는 적절한 프로그램 및 활동영역의 개발, 운영하는 제도적 뒷받침을 지원하는 노력이 지속적으로 증가되어 진행된다면, 국제결혼 이주여성에 대한 이해를 도와 이들이 우리 사회에 적응하며 다양한 어려움을 극복하고 일상의 만족을 통해 ‘행복’을 찾아가는 과정으로 그 의미를 찾을 수 있을 것이다.
