書法에 의한 時間性 追求

Abstract

人間은 항상 새로운 욕구의 충족을 위해서 創造的 모색을 그치지 않았으며 이 창조적 모색에 의해서 예술양식은 늘 해체되고 다시 形成되면서 끊임없는 변화를 계속해 왔다. 제2차 세계대전 후 기성가치관의 상실로부터 오는 實存主義世代들의 存在에 대한 심각한 물음이 있었다. 그들의 문제는 '무엇을 그리는가' '어떻게 그리는가'가 아니라 '왜 그리느냐'라는 것이었다. 몬드리안과 칸딘스키를 기점으로 하여 추상적 표현 방향으로 극대화되어 온 미술의 경향은, Action Painting에 이르러 그 절정에 달한다. 완성된 소산에 의해서보다는 창조 행위를 통하여 진실된 행위를 포착하려는 實存的 태도를 강조하고 있는 것이야말로, 技法이나 정신에 있어서 진정 새로운 면모를 보여 주었다. 절대적 모델없이 자기 자신에 전적으로 완전하려는 自覺 - 이것이 전후 추상표현주의자들의 완고한 새로운 분위기였다. 본인의 작품연구의 목적도 추상표현주의 세대에서 보여준 實存에 대한 問題와 관련하여 物體界를 이루는 時間과 空間, 그 속의 인간 존재 <入間은 어디서 왔으며 어디로 가는가> 그 시작과 끝을 알 수 없는 生命의 원천, 공간개념, 그리고 시간의 심연으로 부터 가장 순수한 藝術創造의 本質을 追求하고자 한다.;Man has constantly endeavored in his creative attempts to meet the newly arising needs. And by these attempts, the mode of art has experienced a series of constant changes, destroyed once and reconstructed again. There was a sincere question about human existence by the age of existentialism after World War I1 with the loss of old-age's view of values. Their problem existed not in "What would I draw?" or "How?" but in "Why?". The trend of mode of art toward the abstract expressionism which was originated from Mondrian and Kandinsky has attained it's peak in the action painting. It is new one in methodology or spirits to emphasize the existential attitude which means the attempt to catch a vivid life by creative acts not by a ready existent one. And it's acute consciousness of willing to be completely sincere to himself without any absolute referable model is a newly-born and rather stubborn trend. The aim of this paper also exists in an attempt to catch the essence of utmost pure artistic creations from those which consist of the World-the time, space, and human-being who can not be grasped easily about-'Where is he coming from?' and 'Where is he going to?, in accordance with the problem of human being which was revealed in the age of abstract expressionism.
