印刷物을 利用한 Image空間 追求

Abstract

時代가 바뀔 때마다 예술의 자유 또한 그 범위를 달리한다. 참된 예술가는 모호한 과거가 아닌 自己時代에 뿌리를 박고 그 시대의 중심이 되는 가장 진실되고 심원한 것과 共嗚하고자 한다. 오늘날, 고도로 발달된 物質文明속에서 기계의 필수조건과 인간의 의식은 불가피하게 조화되어져야만 하며, 매스커뮤니케이션의 비대는 인간의 비개성화를 조장하고 있다. 이러한 現實에 대한 자각은 本人의 화면에 일상적 Object로서의 인쇄물의 Image를 제시하는 계기를 이루며, 동시에 기계적 완전성의 특질인 기하학적 조형성을 바탕으로, 자유로운 마띠에르와 오브제가 竝置하는 작업태도는, 추상표현주의의 내면적 침잠에서 오는 매너리즘을 극복하고 현실의 삶과 좀 더 밀접한 회화이기를 바라는 마음에서 연유한다. 이러한 기법상의 서로 다른 제요소들의 중추를 이루는 내용적인 의식은 우리의 삶에 내재한 무수한 兩意性 즉 우연과 필연, 합리와 비합리, 정과 동의 대립 속에서 조화를 통한 自己實現을 모색하고자 함이다. 이를 위한 이론적 기반으로, 내용적인 면에서는 物質과 精神의 조화를 추구한 Antoni Ta`pies (1923 ~ )를 본인과 연결시켜 연구하였고, 방법적인 면에서는 화면의 Monochrome적 이미지와 Informel적 행위, Collage 기법, 색채의 의미에 대해서 김 기린( 1936 ∼ ), Ad Reinhardt ( 1913 ∼ 1967 )의 회화와 함께 고찰하였다. 本人은 이러한 연구를 통해 확고한 회화적 價値觀의 설정과 아울러 反省의 계기를 마련하고자 한다.;With the change of the times, the freedom of the art also has had a different range. The true painter strives to sympathize, not through vague past but by taking root in his times, with something that is the truest, most profound and the central idea of his times. Nowadays, in this highly developed material civilization, the consciousness of the human should harmonize inevitably with the indispensable condition of the machnie. The enlargement of mass communication has promoted to disregard one's personality. The self-consciousness of this reality gave me the motive that I present the image of the printed matter as an ordinary object in my pictorial surface. At the same time, my working attitude coordinating the object and free matiere based on geometrical form, the characteristic of the mechanical completeness, was derived from my mind surmounting the mannerism which comes from the inner-oriented abstract expressionism and wanting more meaningful painting to red life. My inner consciousness which is the center of the all factors which are different from each other in the technique searches for the self-realization through the harmony in the conflict of so many two opposite meanings immanent in our life, chance and necessity, rationality and irrationality, stillness and movement, etc. For this, as the base of the theory, I studied Antoni Tapies who persued the balance between the material and spirt in the aspect of import. I studied the monochromatic image, informel act, Collage and the meaning of the color in the pictorial surface, considering the pictures of the Kim Ki Rin and Ad Reinhardt in the aspect of method. I wish to provide the motive of reflection and establishment of the firm view of value of the painting.
