집단상담과 학급활동이 책임감 및 자아개념에 미치는 효과

Abstract

본 연구는 중학생의 책임감과 자아개념과의 관계를 살펴보고 책임감 향상을 목적으로 하는 집단상담과 학급활동이 자아개념 발달에 미치는 영향을 밝히려는 데 목적이 있다. 이것은 인간은 성장할 수 있는 힘을 가지고 있으며 이 힘이 자신이나 환경을 통제하면서 자신의 욕구를 충족시키되 현재의 자기행동에 대한 책임을 강조하는 Glasser의 이론에 의한 것으로 집단상담이 그 하나의 방법으로 제기될 수 있는 가를 논의하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 서울 시내의 중학교 1학년 학생으로 책임감 검사와 자아개념 진단검사를 실시한 후 집단상담과 학급활동을 전개하였다. 측정도구로는 송인섭(1980)의 자아개념 진단검사를, 책임감 측정을 위해서는 이상로, 변창진, 진위교(1969)의 성격 진단검사를 이용하였다. 책임감향상을 위한 집단상담 프로그램은 자아성장 프로그램으로 이용하였으며 학생들이 스스로 택한 역할 분담을 통해 학급활동에 참여토록 하였다. 자료처리는 t검증과 회귀분석, 이원변량분석을 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 학생들의 책임감은 자아개념의 하위요인 중, 일반자아개념과 학급자아개념과는 높은 상관관계가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 2. 책임감과 학급자아개념이 모든 자아개념을 포괄하고 있는 일반 자아개념을 설명하는 중요한 변수들로 나타났다. 3. 책임감 향상을 위한 학급활동과 상담활동이 책임감을 높혀 주었다. 4. 책임감 향상을 위한 학급활동과 상담활동이 일반자아개념과 학급자아개념 발달에 긍정적인 방향으로 작용하였다. 결과적으로 집단상담활동과 학급활동이 학생들의 책임감을 향상시킬 뿐만아니라 일반자아개념과 학급자아개념을 바람직한 방향으로 발달시키는 데 효과가 있음을 알 수 있다.;The purpose of this paper is to examine the relation between middle school students' responsibility and self-concept, and to examine the effect of group counseling for the purpose of responsibility improvement and classroom activities on the development of self-concept. This is based on the Reality Therapy of Glasser that insists man has the growth power and that this power controls himself or his environment and it fulfills his needs and this theory emphasizes the responbility of his present activity. This paper aims to discuss if group counseling can be used as a method for the improvement of responsibility by the theory. Subject of this paper were the students attending at the lst year middle school located in Seoul. After the responsibility test and self-concept test, group-counseling and classroom activities were operated. The two tests for the paper are the Song In-sub's Self-Concept inventory(1982) and Lee Sang-ro, Pyun Chang-jin and Jin Wee-kyo's Personality inventory(1969). Self-Growth Program is corrected for the group counseling program for the responsibility improvement These statistical computations were done by using SPSS computer programs. The results and conclusions of this paper were as follows; 1. The responsibility of the students has proved to be the positive correlation with general self-concept and classroom self-concept among subordinate self-concept factors. 2. Responsibility and classroom self-concept have proved to be the important variation that includes all the self-concept and that explanes general self-concept. 3. Classroom activities and counseling have improved the responsibility. 4. Classroom activities and the group counseling for the responsibility improvement have operated positively on general self- concept and the classroom self-concept. As a conclusion, the group counseling for the responsibility improvement and classroom activities not only improve the students' responsibility but also operate positively on general self-concept and classroom self-concept.
