대중문화에서 전이된 표현성 연구

Abstract

20세기 미술은 획기적인 기법과 재료에 의한 새로운 아이디어들의 대두를 초래하였고, 모든 미술분야에 있어서 다양한 표현 방식을 추구하여 세계와 우리 자신에 대해 새로운 통찰력을 갖도록 하였다. 정신활동의 모든 영역 가운데 예술은 특수한 목적과 성취 수단을 갖고 있는 개인의 몫이 가장 중요하고 또 두드러진 영역이다. 그러나 현대예술의 행위에 있어서 무인격화·중성화 등이 비인간화된 현대의 특징으로 문제가 되고 있다. 이러한 상황에서 1950년대의 추상표현 주의에 뒤이어 팝아트, 색채회화, 키네틱아트, 미니멀아트, 쉬포르/쉬파스, 개념미술등이 복잡하고 다양하게 전개되어 왔다. 회화에 있어서 이러한 신속한 진전은 시대적 요청과 동시에 물질 및 정신의 변화에서 수반 되었다. 그러한 의미에서 현대미술은 인류미술사의 종합이며 개별성을 추구하는 점에서 자아실현(self-realization)을 하도록 하는 초석의 역할을 한다고 본다. 본 논문에서는 이론적인 면에서 행위와 연관관계가 있는 측면에서 작품제작의 의의를 밝히고자 한다. 본인의 작품제작은 무의식적 행위와 의식적 행위를 매개로한 낙서적 표현으로 나타나고 있으며 작품제작의 방법적인 면에서는 회화적 표현을 강조하기 위해 오토마틱한 기법을 사용하여 물질이 갖는 고유성을 조형적 화면구성으로 연결시켜 서술하고자 한다. 마지막으로 본인의 작품을 분석하여 작품제작의 표현적 내용을 검토하고자 한다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 본인의 내면세계를 표현하는데 진지하고 예리한 안목으로 작품제작에 임할 수 있는 기초가 되고자 한다.;New and Fresh ideas, which are based on the development of various materials and unique technics, have been created during the 20th century Art, and through all fields of Art ; Many expression methods were studied variously and brought into new insight to us. Art is a characteristic area among the whole field of mentality and in this area, human being has a special intention and a method for accomplishment but human being iteself is a most essential parts in Art. The subject of depersonalization and neutralization, however, have become a hot issue as an essential character of Modern society. In this situation, Pop Art, Color Field, Kinetic Art, Minimal Art, Conceptual Art and Support surface, etc have been developed rapidly in various ways after advent of abstract expressionism in 1950's. This rapid progress in painting was the demand of the times with the change of materials and mentality. Modern Art, in this sense, is a synthesis of human's art history and a foundation of self-realization in the meaning of pursuing one's personality. In this thesis, I will try to deliberate the meaning of the process of pursuing the personality. I call the process of pursuing the personality "Action". My works is concluded as a grafitti throughout the conscious and unconscious action, and in method of works, I tried to relate the originality of materials with plastic screen formation(organization) in order to emphasize on the expression through Automatism. Finally, I analyzed some of my works produced through the cirriculum of graduate school and studied the effects of my expression.
