W.E.Kennic has said that there were no all-round appliable rules, standards, and measures in art. Indeed, modern art spreads out in the rapid-changing society with their numerous styles. Since 1950, modern art has developed into the abstract expressionism covering action paintings and color field paintings; the minimallsm focused on the minimal elements; and the conceptual art on the non-material and the ideal. Since 1980, open-door styles have emerged and they infiltrates into others rather than confining to their own in comparison with modernism putting their focus on uniqueness and flatness. These changes have made open their eyes toward space to escape from genre constraint, plane or cube which opened their mind and thought from the standardized materials, and eventual1 search for the new materials. Therefore there occured numerous trials in the art field. Parallel to these trends, I have selected multiform flows of art and new materials to express my own intentions and values. Discovery of new and new materials can pave one's way into the artists' eyes and emotions, so that search form them is life itself leaping art performance. For me matherial itself means form and content; I prefer to put a focus of my concerns on the process of changes in reflecting images rather than the visual effects. Thus I selected Antonio Tapies(1923 - ), Process Artists, and Yves Klen(1928-1962) as my references; the former has concentrated his energles on the materials through unity of material and spirit, to achive and the second on the process of painting itself, and the last, non-material world. Other reference may be Carl Andre(1935∼), who unified space and his paintings by way of 'sculpture as Place' I dealt with the contents of my painting by its process, and with the backgrounds and the characteristics of form. In chapter 2, some implications are given to brand-new materials reflecting images, characteristic and analaysis of the transformation my art material, so as to study the characteristics;모든 예술작품에 포괄적으로 적용될 수 있는 규율, 표준치, 기준은 하나도 없다는 케닉(W.E.
