繪畵에 나타난 說話的 表現 硏究

Abstract

Since ancient times, art and literature have been regarded as being kindred, almost to the degree of being called 'Sisters Art' Many forms of literature can be readily expressed in paintings, which, like wise can be altered to become words and phrases. In paintings, the artistic expression can be divided into poetic expression and legendary expression. The former expresses art to the viewer through an imagination incurred by a mix of inclusion and comparison while the latter uses more specific story-telling cues to inform the viewer. The legendary expressions contain a unique blend of humor and amusement not only arouses human interest and gives peace to the mind but it shows the individual's sentiment and the sensation of a whole generation. Also expressed are the succession of tradition, not to mention emotions unique to korea and even exact feelings of dreams inside stories. This paper is a research of the relationship between poetry, paintings and literature and their story-telling characteristics by using methods to connect literature to paintings and includes the possibility of expressing paintings in literary forms shown by a few writers form East and West. By a process of expression through work, and the title and contents, story-telling and folk painting of korea-style, Korean-style exactitude crossed with formative lower picture work of chinese ink has led to my study of modern korean art work. Lastly, through an appraisal and presentation of my creation, my expressions and their faulth could be addressed for useful guidance in future work.;美術과 文學의 관계는 먼 고대로부터 '姉妹藝術'이라고 불리워질 정도로 밀접한 관련을 맺어 왔다. 일부 文學에서 서술할 수 있는 많은 것들이 繪畵로 표현될 수 있고, 繪畵로 표현된 것이 文學의 형식으로 표현될 수 있다. 회화에 있어서 문학적 표현은 詩的으로 표현하는 것과 說話的인 표현으로 나누어 볼 수 있는데, 전자는 함축과 은유로서 감상자에게 상상력을 불러 일으켜 내용을 전달하고, 후자는 보다 구체적인 이야기를 담아서 표현한다. 특히 설화적인 표현은 특유의 유머와 해학으로 인간의 흥미를 부추기고 마음을 풀어주며 개인의 감성 뿐 아니라 한 시대의 감수성을 보여주고 있다고 보며, 또한 전통의 계승과 동시에 한국적인 정서와 꿈이 담긴 이야기에서 느낀 정감을 표현할 수 있다고 본다. 作業을 통한 表現過程에서는 주제 및 내용을 통해 묵의 조형적 밑그림 작업을 거쳐서 설화적이고 민화적이며 한국적인 정감을 통해 한국화의 현대적인 작업을 모색하였다. 마지막으로 본인의 작품을 제시·분석함으로써 그 표현적 성과와 문제점을 살펴 앞으로의 작업에 도움이 되고자 한다.
