기독교 무용예배 활성화를 위한 신도들의 인식도 조사

Abstract

본 논문은 현재 한국 기독교 교회의 신도들의 무용예배에 대한 인식을 보다 실질적으로 연구하여 무용예배의 저변확대와 올바로 나아가야 할 방향을 제시하고 그 기초를 마련하고자 하는데 그 목적을 갖는다. 무용예배는 몸을 사용하는 즉, 몸을 수단으로 하는 무용을 통해 하나님께 예배를 드리는 것이기 때문에 예배의 의미와 목적에 부합되는 것이다. 그러므로 무용예배는 보여주거나 환호론 받기 위한 목적이 아닌 오직 하나님께 찬양과 영광과 자신을 바치는 것이 주요 핵심이 된다. 본 논문에서는 서울시내에 소재하고 있는 교회중 무용예배가 이루어지고 있는 교회 2곳과 무용예배가 이루어지지 않는 교회 4곳을 대상으로 설문조사가 가능했던 263명을 조사대상으로 하였다. 연구방법은 성서와 예배문헌과 무용문헌을 기초로하여 설문지 선행연구자들의 방법을 참고 하였다. 이것을 바탕으로 설문지 초안을 작성하였으며 작성된 설문지 초안은 예비검사를 통해 설문내용의 적합성과 적용가능성을 검토한 후 신뢰도 및 타당도를 검증하고 이를 바탕으로 설문지를 수정하여 본 조사 설문지를 완성하였다. 자료분석은 SPSSPC를 사용했으며 설문지 결과는 빈도분포, 백분율로 나타내었다. 이상의 연구방법과 절차를 통해 무용예배의 활성화를 위한 인식도 조사는 다음과 같은 결과가 나타났다. 먼저 무용예배가 이루어지고 있는 교회에서는 첫째, 신도들의 대부분이 찬양과 선교를 목적으로는 무용이 기독교안에서 필요하다는 응답을 한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 신도들의 무용예배에 대한 인식은 대부분 긍정적으로 나타났으며 제도화의 제일 큰 장애요소로 무용예배의 중요성에 대한 인식 부족을 꼽는 것으로 나타났다. 세째, 무용예배의 실시 상황은 중요절기때와 설교대신으로 가장 많이 이루어지고 있었으며, 많은 신도들의 부정기적인 실시와 실시횟수의 부족함을 이유로 불만족을 나타내고 있다. 네째, 무용예배에 대한 신도들의 관심은 높았으며 교회후원과 인도자, 내용에 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 무용예배를 후원할 의사는 신도들 중 46.4%를 차지했고 참여의사는 참여하겠다와 참여하지 않겠다가 35.5%, 44,9%로 참여의사가 적은 것으로 나타났으며 모든 신도가 참여할 수 있는 무용예배를 희망하는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 무용예배시 바라는 내용은 성경이 높은 우위를 나타냈다. 다음으로 무용예배가 이루어지지 않는 교회에서는 첫째, 신도들의 대다수가 찬양과 설교의 목적으로 기독교안에서 무용이 사용되는 것에 긍정적인 반응을 보였다. 둘째, 무용예배에 대한 인식은 대부분 긍정적으로 나왔으며 무용예배 제도화의 가장 큰 장애요소로 중요성의 인식부족을 지적하고 있었다. 세째, 무용예배가 있기를 대다수의 신도가 바랬으며 참여의사는 45%정도이며 모든 신도가 참여할 무용예배를 원하는 것으로 나타났다. 네째, 무용예배가 성가대와 함께나 설교전에 찬양 흑은 성경내용으로 이루어지길 신도들이 바라는 것으로 나타났다. 이것을 종합해보면 기독교안에서의 무용이 필요한 것으로 생각되고는 있으나 성서적인 합법성에 의해 무용예배가 자리잡아야 한다는 생각은 결여된 것으로 나타난 것으로 보아 하루빨리 실제적인 프로그램 개발을 통해 무용예배에 대한 성서적 합법성을 인식시켜야 할 것이다. 그리고 대부분의 질문에서 무용예배에 대한 신도들의 관심이 높았고, 인식은 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다.;The purpose of this thesis was to make a more substantial study about Korean Christians' understanding of worship dance and to suggest a proper way in which to advance it. As the worship dance praises the Lord through dance which uses the body it corresponds to the meaning and purpose of worship. Therefore the core purpose of worship dance is not to show nor receive an acclamation but only to consecrate praise, honor and oneself to the Lord. The subjects of investigation in this thesis was 263 persons who belong to 6 churches which are located in Seoul. Out of these 6 churches, worship dance was only held in 4 of them. The research method was based on the Bible, essays of worship and dance, and consulted former researchers methods of study. With these as a foundation, a draft questionnaire was made and revised by preliminary survey which was to examine the adequacy and applicability and to verify the validity and reliability of each question. SPSSPC was used in data analysis and the results were shown by frequency distribution and percentage. The conclustions of the research derived from the methods and proccesses mentioned above are as follows : First of all, in the church where worship dance is held, First, most of the believers answered that worship dance of which purpose is to praise the Lord and propagate Christianity is necessary in the Christian church. Second, the recognition of worship dance among believers was mostly positive, Believers picked the lack of understanding of worship dance as the main obstacle towards institutionlization. Third, application of worship dance is accomplished at important annual events or in place of sermon, and many believers expressed dissatisfaction due to the ineqularity of performance and the insufficiency of performance frequency. Fourth, most of the believers feel a great interests in worship dance and are satisfied with the support of the church, director and contents of the worship dance. Fifth, 46.4% of the believers anounced their intention to support the worship dance, and 35.5% answered positively about participation worship dance compared to 44.9% who answered negatively. In addition the believers wanted worship dance in which all believers could participate. Sixth, contents which believers mostly wanted in worship dance came out to be Biblical. Following are the results from the churches where worship dance is not accomplished, First, most believers showed positive response to using worship dance as a means of praise and preach. Second, most people's attitudes toward worship dance turned out to be amiable and believers pointed out the lack of recongnition of worship dance value as the biggest obstacle for institutionalization of worship dance. Third, a majority hoped to have worship dance. As many as 45% of believers expressed their willingness to participate in worship dance and wanted to have worship dance in which believers can take part. Fourth, most answerers favored worship dance consisting of praise or scriptural details performing with a choir or before sermon. Considering these conclusions, though dance is recongnized as a necessity in the Christian church, the view that worship dance must be established on the basis of scriptural lawfulness is shown to be deficient. But, the answers in most of the question came upon that believers had a high interest about worship dance and also a positive recognition.
