水墨 抽象의 現代的 表現 硏究

Abstract

추상성은 표현양식 이전의 정신성의 문제로 볼 수 있다. 앙드레 부루통(Andre Breton)의 "이제부터 門은 동양으로 열린다. "라는 말은 결국 추상표현주의 또한 동양사상과 밀접한 관련성을 갖고 있음을 알 수 있다. 本 論文에서는 傳統과 現代의 受容 문제를 논의하여 참다운 傳統의 의미와 진정한 現代繪畵의 의미를 체득하며, 墨의 추상성의 개념에 대해 고찰하여 수묵화의 현대적 표현양식으로의 가치체계에 대한 정확한 이해를 돕고자 하였다. 또한 현대적 조형으로써 오늘날의 韓國畵가 墨을 통한 정신성을 통해 본인 작품에 표현되어지길 시도하였다. 예술작품이란 작가의 內的, 外的표현욕구가 구체적으로 표현될 때 비로서 얻어지는 것이다. 즉, 하나의 예술작품은 예술가의 자기표현인 것이다. 또한 단순한 모방도 아니며, 自然의 섭리에 따라 일상의 생각으로 뒤섞인 心底에서 찾아내는 內面의 진실을 표현하기 위해 주관적으로 造形化하는 일이라 본다. 이와같은 내적·외적표현 즉, 內容과 形式은 서로 끊임없이 相互補完되면서 對立이 아닌, 함께 공존하며 존재한다. 本人의 조형화 작업에 있어서 내적충동에 의한 자연스러운 표현으로 얻어지는 우연성과 채색이 가해진 한지를 이용한 Collage 방법으로 조형적인 면의 구성을 시도하였다. 이러한 종이작업은 일반적인 관념에서 탈피하여 화면위에서 面의 再構成을 통해 造形空間의 의미를 표현하고자 한 것이며 또다른 표현재료에 대한 해석으로 볼 수 있다.;Abstractionism is not simply a form of expression but manifestation of the soul. As Andre Breton aptly stated, "The door is now open to the orient", which suggests that abstractionism is closely related to oriental thought. This thesis focuses on the acceptance of traditionalism and fine arts; the true meaning of traditional and modern fine arts; and the concept of abstractionism as shown through the medium of ink. The main objective of this thesis is to broaden understanding of the true meaning of ink painting as a form of modernistic expression and explain my intention of integrating the spiritualism of ink into my Korean paintings. Artwork can only be created when the artist's inner and outer desires are explicitly expressed, that is to say, an artist's work is an expression of him of herself. It is not simply an imitation of another's work. It is, rather, the painter's subjective figuration in expressing a combination of his / her innermost truth and his / her common thoughts according to nature's providence. Inner and outer expressions, in other words, substance and form, incessantly compliment, and coexist with each other. I intend to create an artwork by means of a collage, on lightly colored mulberry paper, applying spiritual flexibility obtained through an inner impetus of natural expression. This kind of paper creation can be interpreted as a product, through the recomposition of the canvas, transcending the general idea, intended to express the significance of space and material in the fine arts.
