F. Liszt의 Piano Sonata in B minor와 C. Debussy의 Prelude II중 Feux d'Artifice에 대한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 필자의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업 연주회의 연주 곡목 중 F.Liszt의 Piano Sonata in B minor와 C.Debussy의 Feux d'Artifice에 대한 연구이다. F.Liszt의 Piano Sonata in B minor는 그의 예술 생애중 중기에 해당하는 작품으로 1853년에 완성되었고, R.Schumann에게 헌정되었다. 이 곡은 종래의 Sonata 형석과는 다르게 여러 악장의 구성이 아닌 단악장 형태라는 점과 Sonata가 지니고 있는 제반 요소들이 확대되거나 축소되었다는 것이 특징이다. 또한 구성면에서 순환 발전적 원리인 주제 변형의 수법을 도입했는데 이는 Liszt의 관현악곡에 있어서의 새로운 작품형식인 교향시(Symphonic poem)과 상호 연관성이 많다. 이런 점에서 볼 때 Piano Sonata in B minor는 자유롭게 확대된 Sonata 형식을 지닌 단일 악장 형태로 피아노를 위한 화려한 교향시라고 말할 수 있다. C.Debussy의 Feux d'Artifice는 1913년에 완성된 prelude 2권중 12번째 작품으로 19C 이전까지 쓰여진 재래적인 방법, 즉 어떤 작품 앞에서 도입의 역할을 하던 여태까지의 방법에서 벗어나 하나의 완전하고 독립된 예술작품으로서, 고정된 형식에 구애받지 않고 자유로운 형식과 대담한 chord의 사용, Pentatonic Scale. 미묘하고 몽롱하게 울려 퍼지는 선율의 흐름등은 전통에 도전하는 새로운 Prelude의 이념을 갖게 한다.;The thesis is attempted to study the details of Franz Liszt's "piano sonata in B minor" and Claude Debussy's "Feux d'Artifice" which were performed for the writer's graduate recital for the partical fultillment for the Master of Music degree. Mentioned the characteristic of the works with analysis and proposed to give the advice two performers with the suggenstion the periodical background and musical characteristics of each composers. Franz Liszt greatly celebrated Hungarion pianist and composer, creator of the symphonic poem and a reformer of modern piano technics. piano Sonata in B minor is one movement form composed with the elements of mutti movement structure and this form has five thematic elements and their transformation. The key shows the frequent modulation with complicated harmony under the key plan on the classical principle. Debussy produced his own characteristic music resulted from the new styles of expression different from the traditional styles. He adopted whole- tone scale, pentatonic scale. He used colorful harmony escaped from the law of traditionally functional-harmony. Piano preludes which were composed in 1910 and 1913 are the masterpieces in which his original and diverce compositional techniques can be found. He composed new reformative works for piano. In the establishment of this reformative music, Debussy in Master of Music of Modern music history.
