실업계 고등학교 "전자계산일반" 교과서 분석적 연구

Abstract

오늘날과 같은 고도의 정보화 사회에서는 일상 생활뿐만 아니라 모든 분야에 걸쳐서 컴퓨터가 폭넓게 이용되므로 누구나 컴퓨터에 관한 기초적인 지식과 원리 및 이용 방법을 이해하여야 한다. 실업계 고등학교 학생들로 하여금 컴퓨터에 관한 전반적인 기초 지식과 활용 방법을 습득하게 하여 정보화 사회에 쉽게 적용할 수 있게 하는 컴퓨터 교육의 가장 기초적인 교과는 전자계산일반 교과라고 할 수 있다. 그리고 전자계산일반 교과의 성격을 일차적으로 규정지으며 또한 그 교과의 기본적인 내용을 확인하고 결과적으로 이루어져야 할 교육의 수준을 밝혀 주는 가장 구체적인 자료는 전자계산일반 교과서라고 할 순 있다. 현행 전자계산일반 교과서는 1988년의 제5차 교육과정에 의해 1종 교과서에서 2종 교과서로 전환됨에 따라 교과서 종류가 8종으로 다양화되어 1990년부터 실업계 고등학교에서 사용되어 오고 있다. 이처럼 이전의 단일 교과서에서 선별적 교과서 선정으로 바뀜에 따라 전자계산일반(8종) 교과서의 특징과 차이점에 대한 정보 수집과 교과서에 대한 연구가 요구된다. 이러한 측면에서 본 연구는 평가기준(교육내용의 타당성, 내용조직의 합리성, 체재의 효율성)을 세워 전자계산일반 교과서(8종)를 구성적인 측면과 내용적인 측면으로 나누어 분석한 후, 교과서 구성체제와 내용상의 문제점을 지적하고 현행 전자계산일반 교과서에서 개선되어야 할 점을 제시하고자 한다. 이렇게 함으로써 컴퓨터 교육에서 활용되는 전자계산일반 교과서의 중요성을 인식함은 물론 현행 학교 교육에서 교사의 전자계산일반 교과서 선정에 따르는 어려움을 해결할 뿐만 아니라 새로운 전자계산일반 교과서 편찬시 보다 우수하고 질높은 교과서를 제작하는데 조금이나마 도움이 되고자 한다.;In this information society, computer becomes a necessary tool to deal with information. The most basic course of computer education enabling students at vocational high school to adapt themselves to the information society by learning the basic knowledge and usage of computer is the course named "An Introduction to Computer Science". And the textbook of "An Introduction to Computer Science" is considered the most concrete guide to primarily define the course characteristics of "An Introduction to Computer Science", confirm the basic content of the course and clarify the educational level that should be done in conclusion. The current textbooks of "An Introduction to Computer Science" was diversified into eight textbooks with the conversion from category one to category two textbook due to the fifth curriculum in 1988, and it has been used in vocational high schools since 1990. Therefore, it is required to collect information on characteristics and differences among eight textbooks of "An Introduction to Computer Science". In this regard, this study points out problems in the structural format and content of the textbooks, and suggests the items to be improved in the current textbooks after analyzing the textbooks of "An Introduction to Computer Science" by dividing them into structural and content aspects with the evaluation criteria - validity of the teaching contents, rationality of the content formation, effectiveness of the format. By doing this, this study aims at helping teachers settle difficulties in choosing the suitable textbook of "An Introduction to Computer Science" and improve the quality in time of revision the textbook as well as perceiving the importance of the textbook of "An Introduction to Computer Science" being utilized in computer education.
