전공별로 본 여대생의 인성특성 비교연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study lies in providing the basic data for the educational guide by performing the personality test centering on students a t women's college, comparing the personalities of them according to the types of majors, and preceiving the differences of the related measurements among them. The subjects of study were selected centering on students at women's colleges in Seou1,who are sophomores and juniors. They are sa folloeings : students with art and physical majors(music 50, art 50, dance 50,and physical education 50) students with the other majors(humanities 100,natural science 100). Also the testing papers for personality made by Hwang UngOyeonwere used as a testing instrument. The collected testing papers,after the data input, were analyzed by the existing SPSS(Statistic Package of Social Science) This study executed the correlation analysis to see the differences of personalities according to the types of major and performed one way ANOVA analysis and Duncan Test to inspect the difference, and thus produced the following conclusions after comparison and analysis of the difference among the significance measurements. 1. In the difference of personalities between students who major in art, and physcial course and the other students, the latter showed the high discretion(average 8.05) and the former seemed to have the high trend toward mental disorder(average 6.0). 2. In the difference of personalities among students according to the type:; of art and physcial majors, there is a very significant difference(p<.001)in the sociality and the mental disorder trends. Especially students with art major showed high in the three items of clinical measuremwnt, while they showed low in the other of technical measurement except autonomy. 3. In the differences of personalities among students with the other majors,there is a high trendin areas such as dominance, achievement, and mental disorder, while students who major natural science showed high in il areas of security, activity, autonomy, and achirevement;본 연구는 여대생들을 대상으로 인성 검사를 실시하여 전공에 따른 여대생의 인성특성을 비교하고 그들간의 관련척도별 차이가 있는지를 알아보므로써 교육지도를 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 목적을 규명하기 위하여 예체능전공 여대생과 비예체능 전공 여대생의 인성특성의 차이를 알아보고 그 경향을 밝힘과 동시에 예체능 전공별, 비예체능 전공별로 인성의 차이를 검증하였다. 연구의 대상은 서울 시내 대학의 2, 3학년 학부 여대생을 중심으로 예체능 전공생 200명(음악50명, 미술50명, 무용50명, 체육50명)과 비예체능 전공생 200명(인문계100명, 자연계100명)을 선정하였으며, 檢査道具로는 황응연 제작의 인성검사지(대·일반용 1993)를 사용하였다. 수집된 검사지는 자료입력 후 SPSS(Statistic Package of Social Science)를 이용하여 분석하였다. 전공별 인성특성의 차이를 검증하기 위하여 일원변량분석(Oneway ANOVA analysis)과 사후검증(Duncan Test)으로 유의도의 차이를 비교분석하였다. 1. 예체능 전공 여대생과 비예체능 전공 여대생의 인성특성의 차이를 보면 비예체능 전공 여대생이 사려성이 높게 나타났고, 예체능전공 여대생은 정신장애적 경향이 높게 나타났다. 2. 예체능 전공별 여대생의 인성특성의 차이를 보면 사회성, 정신장애증적 경향에서 매우 유의한 차이가 나타났으며, 그중 미술전공 여대상은 임상척도 項目에서 높게 나타난 반면 기술적인 척도에서 자율성을 뺀 나머지 項目들이 매우 낮게 나타났다. 3. 비예체능 전공별 여대생의 인성특성의 차이를 보면 지배성·성취성·정신장애증적 경향에서 높게 나타났다. 또한 자연계전공 여대생에서는 안정성·활동성·자율성·성취성이 높게 나타났다. 결론적으로, 전공별 여대상의 인성간에는 큰 차이가 나타나지 않았으나, 예체능 전공 간에 차이의 폭이 큰 것을 보면 예술과 체육전공생의 인성이 비예체능전공생에 비해 개성이 강하고 자기 표현방식에 있어 자유롭고 창의적이라 할 수 있겠다. 물론 전공과 인성간에는 상호 보완적이어서 차이가 크게 나타날 것이라는 가설을 깨고 전공과 별 차이가 없다라는 결과로 이 논문은 마무리가 되지만 전국적이지 못했고, 여대생에 한정되었으므로 이 결과를 확대 해석하기는 어려움이 있겠다.
