제5차 교육과정의 고등학교 생물교과서 「과학 상I」과 제4차 교육과정의 고등학교 생물교과서 「생물 I」의 비교연구

Abstract

본 논문은 제5차 개정안에 따른 현행 교과서 「과학Ⅰ(상)」7종과 제4차 개정안에 따른 종전 교과서 「생물Ⅰ」 5종을 대상으로 하여 내용분석과 실험분석으로 나누어 비교연구하였다. 이는 과학교육의 바탕이 되는 교과서를 연구하여 과학교육의 현대화 및 생물교육과정의 개선을 위한 기초자료를 얻기 위함이다. 1. 현행 교과서는 「과학Ⅰ(상)」에는 종전 교과서 「생물Ⅰ」의 생식과 발생단원 및 유전과 진화단원이 없어지고 이들 단원이 생명의 연속성 단원에 포함되었다. 그리고 종전 교과서의 생물의 다양성 단원이 없어지고 생물의 항상성 단원이 새롭게 첨가되었다. 2. 현행 교과서는 소단원별 연습문제는 종전 교과서와 차이가 없으나 현행 교과서의 각 단원별 종합문제는 새롭게 첨가된 내용이다. 3. 현행 교과서는 종전 교과서에 비해 표와 그림의 사용빈도가 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 4. 현행 교과서의 실험항목 수는 종전 교과서의 실험항목 수에 비해 증가하였으며 현행 교과서에서 공통으로 다뤄지는 실험은 혈구의 관찰과 초파리의 침샘염색체의 관찰 등으로 나타났고 종전 교과서의 경우는 혈액형의 판정, 초파리 침샘염색체의 관찰 및 코아세트베이트의 생성 등 3가지로 나타났다. 5. 현행 교과서에 사용된 생물재료는 평균 11.4종류로서 종전 교과서와 차이가 없으며 현행 교과서와 종전 교과서에 공통으로 다뤄진 생물재료는 사람의 혈액, 개구리 초파리 등 3종류로 나타났다. 6. 현행 교과서에 사용된 실험기구의 종류는 종전 교과서에 비해 증가되었으며 실험기구의 사용횟수는 줄어들었다. 현행 교과서에 자주 사용되는 기구는 슬라이드 글라스, 현미경 커버글라스 등의 순이며 종전 교과서에서는 현미경 슬라이드 글라스, 커버 글라스의 순이다. 7. 현행 교과서에 사용된 실험 약품의 종류와 사용횟수는 종전 교과서에 비해 차이가 없으며 현행 교과서와 종전 교과서에 공통적으로 많이 사용된 약품은 아세트 카아민 용액으로 나타났다.;In this study, the current and the former editions of Korean high school textbook, that is, Science1 and Biology1 were analyzed and compared each other. Divided into content analysis and experiment analysis, the current and the former texts were invetigated. By studying a textbook which is the base of sclence education and further, by improving education content, this work aims at the contribution to essential and efficient science education. 1. Reproduction and development unit and heredity and evolution unit in biology are exempted in 「Science Ⅰ」. But these unit are included In continuity of life unit in 「Science Ⅰ」. Diversity of organism unit in 「Biology Ⅰ」 is exempted and Homeostasis of organism unit is newly added to 「Science Ⅰ」. 2. 「Science Ⅰ」 deals with general exercise in large unit newly. 3. In 「Science Ⅰ」. the using frequency of the table and flgure decreases compared with 「Science Ⅰ」. 4. The number of experiement unit in ScienceⅠ shows an increase compared with the number of experiment item in Biology Ⅰ. The common subject for experiment unit in Science Ⅰ is "the observation of hematocyte' and 'the observation of a drosophila sallvary gland chromosome. The common subject for experiement in Biology Ⅰ is 'the decision of a blood type'. 'the observatioin of a drosophilla salivery gland chromosome' and 'the formation of coacervate. 5. The average kinds of organism which are used in experiment is 11.4 kinds in Science Ⅰ and 11.4 kinds in 「Biology Ⅰ」. There is no difference. 6. The using frequency order of the instruments is slide glass, microscope, cover glass in 「Science Ⅰ」: microscope. slide glass, cover glass in 「Biology Ⅰ」. 7. The average kinds of chemical is 15.4 kinds in 「Science Ⅰ」 and 17.6 kinds in 「Biology Ⅰ」. The difference in these textbooks is statistically unsignificant. The most frequently used chemical is aceto-carmine solution in 「Science Ⅰ」 and 「Biology Ⅰ」.
