상업 고등학교 전산교육의 문제점 및 개선방안에 관한 연구

Abstract

정보화 사회에서는 정보부문 인력양성이 교육의 주요 과제가 되고 있다. 이를 위하여 1970년부터 상업 및 공업고등학교에서 전산교육이 실시되고 있으나 컴퓨터 시설의 부족, 예산의 부족등으로 만족할 만한 효과를 거두지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 산업사회가 요구하는 전문인 양성을 위한 상업계 고등학교 컴퓨터 교육의 문제점을 분석, 규명하여 효율적인 컴퓨터 교육의 새로운 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 연구방법은 상업고등학교 컴퓨터 교육의 문제점을 나타낼 수 있는 요인을 설정하고 이를 바탕으로 설문지를 작성하여 서울 및 경기지역 56 개 상업고등학교의 컴퓨터실 담당교사 혹은 전산교육 담당교사와 3학년 재학생을 대상으로 조사를 실시하여 그 중 우편으로 회수된 339부의 자료를 SAS/PC를 이용하여 통계처리 및 분석을 하였다. 연구결과 컴퓨터 보조학습자료를 개발사용하는 학교 학생과 사용하지 않은 학교 학생사이에 전산교과에 대한 흥미도 수준, 전산교육을 실습위주로 하는 학교 학생과 강의위주로 하는 학교 학생사이에 전산교육의 만족도 수준, 정보처리과로 분과되어 있는 학교 학생과 비분과되어 있는 학교 학생사이에 컴퓨터 조작의 숙련도 수준에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그 차이는 컴퓨터 보조학습자료를 개발 사용할수록 전산교과에 대한 흥미도의 수준이 높아지고, 전산교육을 실습위주로 할수록 전산교육의 만족도 수준이 높아지며, 정보처리과로 분과될수록 컴퓨터 조작의 숙련도 수준이 높아져 가는 것으로 나타나 각 학교에서 컴퓨터 조작의 숙련도 수준이 높아져 가는 것으로 나타나 각 학교에서 컴퓨터 보조학습자료를 개발 사용하고, 전산교육을 실습위주로 하며, 정보처리과로 분과되는 것이 의미가 있음이 검증되었다. 그러므로 상업고등학교에서는 현재의 컴퓨터 교육 수준을 파악하고 수준이 낮은 요인과 그 원인을 충분히 진단한 후 그에 적합한 컴퓨터 교육방법 및 제도를 수립하고 체계적인 실천을 하는 것이 요구된다고 하겠다.;In this study the author made a suggestion for effective computer education. For methods and materials, the possible problems which can occur during a computer education were supposed and the checklist papers were prepared and sent to the teachers in charge of the computer education and senior students and their postal return for survey data collection. SAS/PC was used for statistical analysis. The study was designed to assess that the interest, the satisfaction and technical skill level of students for computer management can be affected by the presence for the supplements for computer aided instruction, practice-oriented and recognition of the computer education as a regular subdivision of a department of information management in curriculum, respectively. The author conclude that the interest, the satisfaction and the technical skill of students were affected positively by the presence of the supplements for computer aided instruct ion, practice-oriented education and subdivision of a department of information management, respectively. Therefore it is warranted that the level of computer education should be assessed thoroughly in a school and in accordance with the results the appropriate measurement for the education planning and systematic practice for students in commercial high schools should be done.
