중국연변 초급 중학교와 한국 중학교 과학교과서중 화학 영역에 대한 비교 분석

Abstract

A comparative Study of Middle School textbooks between South Korean and Chosun-Chok in China. The chemistry contents of middle school textbooks between Korea and Chosun-Chok in China have been analyzed. The chemistry textbook of Chosun-Chok consists of 5 chapters and 38 sections in a book. Student experiments are attached at the end of the book. Korean science textbooks are composed of three volumes, which include 23 sections in total. The chemistry contents were analyzed by focusing on the following aspects of scientific literacy: (a) science as a body of knowledge (b) science as a body of investigating (c) science as a way of thinking, and (d) the interaction among science, technology, and society. The result indicated that Korean textbook have more emphasis on the science as a body of investigating. On the other hand, Chosun-Chok has weights more on the science as a way of thinking and the interaction among science, technology, and society. From the sequence of presentation, Chosun-Chok textbook was found to be Inductive-descriptive, and Korean textbooks were Deductive-theoritical.;사회주의 국가인 중국 연변 자치주의 조선족이 배우고 있는 초급 중학교 교과서 화학과 한국 중학교 과학교과서 1종의 화학 영역을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 교과서의 기본 조사 - 연변교과서의 화학은 하나의 책으로 되어 있으며, 전부 5장 38절로 이루어져 있고, 학생 실험은 뒤에 따로 있다. 한국 교과서는 1, 2, 3학년 각 학년에 화학이 대단원 하나씩 들어가 있으며 총 23개의 중단원으로 되어 있다. 그림수, 표수는 한국 교과서에 더 많은 양이 실려 있고, 전체 면 수, 문제 수, 실험 수 등은 연변 교과서에 더 많다. 2. 양적 분석 - 전체 교과서를 Ⅰ. 과학지식, Ⅱ. 과학의 탐구적인 성격, Ⅲ. 생각하는 방법으로서의 과학, Ⅳ. 기술, 사회와 과학의 상호 작용 등 네 개의 범주로 나누어 본 결과는 다음과 같다. Ⅰ. 지식으로서의 과학은 두 교과서가 비슷하게 나왔고, Ⅱ. 과학의 탐구적인 본성은 한국 교과서가, Ⅲ. 생각하는 방법으로서의 과학과 Ⅳ. 기술, 사회와 과학의 상호 작용은 연변 교과서가 상대적으로 더 많은 비율을 차지한다. 이로서 한국 교과서는 탐구적인 기능을, 연변 교과서는 교양으로서의 과학을 상대적으로 더 중시함을 알 수 있다. 3. 질적 분석 - 책의 내용과 내용제시 순서에 따라 구성도를 그려보았다. 연변 교과서는 주변 물질→구성 원소→성질 및 제법→기초 이론으로 연결되는 귀납식-각론 화학이다. 한국 교과서는 개념→개념→개념으로 연결되고 각 개념을 확인하는 사실과 현상이 나오는 연역식-이론 화학이다. 4. 실험 분석 - 연변 교과서의 본문 내용 중에는 시범 실험만 들어가고, 학생 실험은 교과서 맨 끝에 일괄 배치하고, 한국 교과서는 단원 내용 중에 실험이 배치되어 있다. 연변 교과서는 실험이 상세하고 종합적인데 비하여, 한국 교과서는 본문 내용 중에 들어 있어서 실험이 단편적이다.
