住居過密이 靑少年의 社會性 및 精神健康에 미치는 影響

Abstract

본 硏究의 목적은 청소년들의 주거과밀 실태를 파악하고, 주거과밀이 청소년의 사회성과 정신건강에 어느 정도의 영향을 미치는가를 밝히는데 있다. 연구의 구체적인 목적은 첫째, 청소년의 주거과밀 실태를 파악하고 주거과밀에 미치는 제 변인들을 고찰하며, 둘째, 주거과밀이 청소년의 심리적 주거평가, 사회성 및 정신건강에 미치는 영향을 밝히고, 세째, 청소년의 심리적 주거평가, 사회성 및 정신건강에 미치는 영향은 어떤 변인들에 의해 어느 정도의 영향을 받는지를 검토하는 것이다. 연구방법은 질문지법을 사용하여 광명시에 소재한 중학교 3학년 남녀 학생에게 모두 497부의 질문지를 배부하였으며, 회수된 질문지 479부 중 411부를 통계 처리에 사용하였다. 자료 분석 방법은 빈도, 백분율, 평균, 변량분석, 상관 관계 분석, 중다회귀분석 등을 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 수도권 지역에 거주하는 상당 비율의 청소년들이 주거과밀을 느끼고 있다. 물리적 과밀보다는 사회적 과밀이 약간 높은 수준을 나타내고 있으나 그 차이는 크지 않다. 2. 청소년들의 주거과밀에 영향을 미치는 제 변인들을 검토한 결과 주거환경 변인에서는 방당 거주인수, 주택유형, 주택소유유무, 개인공간, 소유유무, 이사횟수로 나타났다. 즉, 방당 거주인수가 많을수록, 단독주택과 自家가 아니며, 개인공간이 없고, 이사가 잦을수록, 주거과밀수준이 높게 나타났다. 인구 사회학적 변인 중에서는 생활수준만이 유의적인 차이를 보였고 성별은 사회적 과밀 영역에서만 유의적인 차이를 나타났다. 3. 연구 모형에서 제시된 제 변인들이 주거과밀에 미치는 상대적인 분석한 결과, 주거과밀에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 변인은 방당 거주인수, 성별, 주택형태로 나타났다. 4. 주거과밀과 심리적 주거평가와는 높은 상관관계에 있으며, 주거과밀을 높게 인지할수록 심리적 주거평가에 낮아지고 있다. 심리적 주거평가에 영향을 미치는 상대적인 영향력을 분석한 결과, 주택 만족 정도에 영향을 미치는 변인은 주거과밀이 결정적인 변인이었고, 이웃 만족 정도, 방당 거주인수, 성별, 주택 소유유무 나타났다. 이웃 만족 정도에 영향력을 미치는 변인은 주거과밀과 주택 만족 정도로 나타났다. 주거과밀은 심리적 주거평가에 부정적 영향을 미치고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 5. 주거과밀은 청소년의 사회성에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있어, 주거과밀 정도가 높을수록 사회성은 낮아지고 있다. 제 변인들이 사회성에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 분석한 결과, 사회성에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 변인은 주거과밀임이 밝혀졌고, 그외 생활정도, 방당 거주인수, 주택형태 순으로 사회성을 설명해 주는 변인으로 나타났다. 6. 주거과밀은 청소년의 정신건강과 높은 상관 관계가 있으며, 주거과밀 정도가 높을수록 정신건강은 좋지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 제 변인이 정신건강에 미치는 상대적인 영향력을 분석한 결과, 청소년의 사회성이 정신건강에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 변인이었고, 다음으로는 주거과밀이었다. 그 외에 주택 만족 정도만이 정신건강을 설명하는 변인으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 볼 때 수도권 지역의 청소년의 주거과밀 현상은 뚜렷하며, 주거과밀은 청소년의 심리적 주거평가, 사회성 및 정신건강에 부정적인 영향을 미치고 있음이 파악되었다.;The purpose of this study is to understand the actual condition of residential crowding for juveniles and to find out whether the residential crowding affects to the sociality and mental health of juveniles The concrete purpose of this study is firstly, to understand the actual condition of residential crowding for juveniles and to find the factors which affect to residential crowding, secondly, to find out the relationship between residential crowding and psychologial residential estimation, the sociality and mental health of juveniles, thirdly, to find out foctors and their influnces on psychologial residential estimation, sociality and mental health of juveniles. Using questionaires as research method,411 of 479 enquete papers which are collected from the third year boy and girl students of middle school, located in Kwang Myoung City, were used to statistic analysis As data analysis methods, frequency, percentile, mean, analysis of variance, Pearson correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis are used. Results are as followings; 1. Quite proportion of juveniles who live in capital area feel residential crowding. Social crowding shows a little higer level than physical crowding, but the difference is not severe 2. The factors which affect to the residential crowding for juveniles among residential environment factors, are the number of person per room, house type, the tenure of house, possession or nonpossession of private space and frequency of moving. It means that when the mumber of person per room appers higher, and when it's not the single and private house, and there is no private space and when the frequency of moving is high, the residential crowding of juveniles are more severe. Among soio-demographic factors, only the economic status shows noteworthy difference and the distincton of sex shows noteworthy difference only in the field of social crowding. 3. As a result of analysis the most affecting factor to residential crowding is appeared to be the number of person per room. Sex and house type are also appeared as affecting factors to residential crowding. 4. It appears that the residential crowding have correlation with psychologial residential estimation, and the higer the residential crowding degree the lower psychologial residential estimation, In result of anaylsis, the relatve influnces of these factors which affects to psychologial residential crowding, the most affcting factor to house satisfaction degree is appeared to be residential crowding, and other fators such as neighbor satisfation degree, the mumber of person per room, sex, and the tenure of house appears to be factors which explain house satisfation degree in this order of rounds. The most affecting fators to neighbor satisfation degree is appeared to be residential rowding and house satisfation degree. The residential crowding affets negatively to psychologial residential crowding estimation 5. Residential crowding affects negatively to the sociality of juveniles, so when the degree of residential crowding become higher, the sociality of juveniles lower. In results of relative influnces which these factors affect to the sociality, the most affeccting factor to sociality is appeared to be residential crowding, and other factors such as economic status, the numer of person per room and house type appeared as factors which explain sociality in this order of rounds. 6. It appears that residential environments have high correlation to the mental health of juveniles, and the higher the residential crowding degree, the unhealthier the mental health. The most affecting factor to mental health is sociality and the next is the residential crowding degree. Besides, only the house satisfaction degree appears as a factor which explains mental health. Through the results of this study, it is found that the residential crowding situation for juveniles in capital area apparent and the residential crowding affects negatively to psychologial residential estimation, the sociality and mental health of juveniles.
