근원에 대한 형상성 연구

Abstract

現代繪畵에 있어 그 흐름은 槪念的이고 樣式的인 새로운 영역이 등장되고 있다. 이러한 예술현상이나 추세는 선택에 있어 보다 넓은 영역과 자유를 누리고 있는 게 사실이며, 이들은 다원주의(Pluralism) 또는 후기 모더니즘(Post-Modernism)이라고 불리고 있다. 특히, 이러한 흐름은 형식과 내용의 조화면에서 觀念的이고 現像學的인 예술을 강하게 거부하는 경향도 적잖게 발견되고 있다. 그러나 본인은 어떤 ism의 受容과 거부 이전에 先在되어야 하는 것은 作品表現이 어디에도 拘束받지 않는 自己實現과 자신의 진정한 經驗이 作品속에 전개되어야 한다고 믿고 있다. 본인은 이러한 상황의 인식하에 그에 따른 生과 死라는 生의 本質의 문제를 意味 傳達의 狀況要素와 幾何學的인 形態를 통해 표현을 가능케 하려했다. 그래서 본 연구는 먼저 작품 제작의 동기가 된 二元論的인 樣相을 동서양의 相反的 思考의 나열과 그에 따른 본인의 수용태도 - 태어난 장소가 동양이란 지역성을 갖지만 교육의 전반적 수용태도는 다분히 서양의 과학적인 思考로 부터의 지배가 持續되었으므로-의 방향을 밝혔다. 그 다음으로는 작품에 있어 감성적 경험을 바탕으로 하여 生과 死라는 二元的인 두 요소를 對立과 共存이라는 측면으로 주된 모티브(motive)로 선정해 보았다. 첫째는 바둑이라는 동양의 한 놀이형태를 통해 生과 死의 상황을 묘사하려 했고, 두번째로는 凹와 凸 이라는 陽陰的인 形態要素를 이용해 對立共存의 樣相을 표현했으며, 셋째로는 黑과 白이란 色彩 對立 - 色이 주는 心理的 效果를 중심으로 - 을 통해 작품 전체의 Image를 통일해 보려 했다. 본인의 의도하에 轉意되었을 수도 있는 構造的인 形과 그에 따라 화면 안에서 內的 空間을 표현하여 作品上에서 兩面的 성향을 對立과 共存의 관점에서 고찰해 보려했다.;In the modern painting, the new spheres which are resisting the leading way have been gererated. This artistic phenomena or trends have more large liberty in choosing the technique and they are called the pluralism or the late modernism. Expecially, it is often seemed that that flow is opposite to the phenomeral and idealistic arts in the balance of the content and form. But I think that the most importnat thing that must exist in the circumstance of the work is wet the resistence or acceptance of 'ism' but reality of myself or real experience of myself. In this thought, I intended to express the substance of the life throught the circumstance fector of meaning expression and geometric form. And, to explain the duality which is the motive of this work, I gave the contrasted thought of the Orient and Occident and my acceptance attitude which has the Oriental character and the Scientific thought of the Occident because I was born in the Orient and I was educated with the Occidental way. Next, I selected the duality of the life and the death for the motive of the work which represented the opposition and the coexis fence with the emotional experience. First, through one of the Orient game, the 'BADOOK', I intended to describe the circumstance of the life and the death. Second, I expressed the aspect of the coexistence and the opposition through the negative and positive form fectors which are also expressed with 凹 and 凸. Last, I intended to uniform the image of the work with the psychological effect which is given by contrasting of white and black. I expressed the constitutional shape and its internal space in the scene of the work and I also tried to study the dual trend with a view to the duality of the coexistence and the opposition.
