주거환경과 아동화의 표현 특징에 관한 연구

Abstract

The social and the physical environment, especially residential environment as a primary living space, have great influence on childrent's emotions. So it is necessary to compare the differences according to children's residential environments. Such comparisons enable us to understand children is drawings as a way to express their emotions and desires. In addition, it will be of great help to develop desirable teaching methods considering each child's residential environment. The purpose of this study is to compare the various types of children's drawing and the characteristics of their coloring from children's different residential environments. For this research, 400 children aged 5-6 from kindergartens were selected as sample. They are divided into two groups. One is from the apartment complexes, and the other from the areas where houses concentrated, in Seoul. Sampling data with free-style drawings and questionaires were analyzed on the basis of analysis criteria. The results of this study are as follows: 1. In the classification of expression types, both groups tend to draw the pictures of the standard type. But more pictures of the standard type were shown in the group of the apartment complexes than in the group of the house areas. On the other hand, more pictures of other types were found in the group of the house areas than in the apartment complexes. 2. In case of drawings expression, the children of the apartment complexes made expressions realistic, artificial, decorative and conceptional, while the children of the house areas made expressions exaggerative, emphatic, and simple as they felt. 3. In case of color expression, the children of the apartment complexes used more various colors and were mere skillful at coloring than the children of house areas. However, their expressions were stereo-typed and conceptional. Meanwhile, the children of the house areas made limited choice of colors and left many parts of their pictures blank. 4. There is a big difference in preference of subject between two groups. But the content of the pictures was in general similar such as character, house, car, flower and so on. Both group favored primary colors of red, yellow, and blue. The children of house areas preferred dark colors and primary colors compared with the children of the apartment complexes.;아동의 정서는 사회적, 물리적 환경, 특히 1차적 생활공간인 주거환경에 큰 영향을 받는다. 따라서 정서와 욕구의 표현인 아동화의 이해와 주거환경의 특성을 고려한 올바른 지도를 위해서는 주거환경에 따른 회화표현의 차이를 비교할 필요가 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 주거환경의 차이에 따른 아동화의 표현 유형과 색채 표현의 특징을 비교하는데 있다. 이 목적을 수행하기 위해서 서울지역의 아파트 지역과 주택 지역에 거주하는 만 5∼6세 유치원 아동 400명을 대상으로 자유화와 조사지를 도구로 하여 분석규준에 따라 분석하고 비교한 결과를 백분율로 통계 처리하였다. 그 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 1. 표현 유형별 분류에서 두 지역 모두 표준형의 그림이 많았으나, 그 분포는 아파트 지역이 더 높았으며 그 밖의 유형은 주택 지역에서 더 많이 나타났다. 2. 회화 표현의 특징으로 아파트 지역은 사실적, 기교적, 장식적, 개념적인 표현이 많았으며, 주택 지역은 과장적, 강조적 표현과 순수한 아동의 심상표현에서 나타난 아동다운 소박한 표현이 많이 나타났다. 3. 색채 표현은 아파트 지역의 그림은 주택 지역보다 색 사용수가 다양하고, 색칠 기법이 능숙한 반면 표현이 기계적이고 개념적이었으며, 주택 지역의 아동은 색 사용수와 색칠의 양이 많지 않았다. 4. 주제 선호는 빈도에서 큰 차이가 있으나 내용은 대체적으로 인물, 집, 자동차, 꽃 등으로 공통되며, 색 선호도는 두 지역 모두 빨강, 노랑, 파랑의 원색을 선호하며 주택 지역은 어두운 색과 원색 선호도가 더 높게 나타났다.
