쎄서미 스트리트의 협동하기 프로그램에 대한 유아의 주의집중도 및 이해도

Abstract

본 연구는 TV의 교육적기능이 강화되어야 한다는 측면에서 쎄서미스트리트의 「협동하기」프로그램에 어느 연령의 아동이 어떻게 주의 집중하며 또 그 이해도는 어떠한지 알아보는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 위한 구체적인 연구 문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 쎄서미 스트리트의 「협동하기」 프로그램에 대한 유아의 주의집중도는 어떠한가? 2. 쎄서미 스트리트의 「협동하기」 프로그램에 대한 유아의 이해는 어떠한가? 3. 쎄서미 스트리트의 「협동하기」 프로그램에 대한 유아의 주의집중도와 이해도의 관계는 어떠한가? 본 연구를 위하여 서울시내 2개 유치원을 선정, 40명씩 원아를 무작위 추출하였다. 추출된 표본 중 3~4세 유아와 5~6세 유아가 각각 40명씩이고 성별도 균등하게 하였다. 연구도구로는 미국 C.T.W에서 개발한 「친사회적」 프로그램으로 사운드 필름 스트립 형태를 비디오 테입으로 옮겨 우리말로 녹음한 것이다. 본 연구문제에 준하여 프로그램 4부, 즉 복합단편(Segment), 7부 즉 단순단편(Segment)의 주의집중도 및 이해도를 알아보기 위해 독립변인에 따른 차이를 t검증하였고, 주의집중도와 이해도와의 상관관계를 알아보기 위하여 Pearson의 적률상관계수를 구하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 프로그램에 대한 주의집중을 상층 유치원과 하층 유치원의 연령과 성별에 따라 차이검증한 결과, 4부의 단편2프로그램은 상층유치원의 5,6세 아동이 3,4세 아동보다 주의집중도가 높았다. (P<.05). 또한 상층 유치원 5,6세 아동의 주의집중도가 4부 프로그램에서만 높았다. 2. 프로그램에 대한 이해도를 상층 유치원과 하층 유치원의 연령과 성별에 따라 차이검증한 결과, 상층 유치원의 5,6세 아동이 3 4세 아동보다 이해도가 4부 프로그램에서 높았다.(P<.01). 3. 주의집중도와 이해도와의 상관을 분석한 결과 상관이 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다.;Emphasizing the educational function of T.V. Program, the researcher attempted to find out the mode of attention and the understanding about the Sesame Street's Cooperation Program. For the above purpose, this thesis brings out three questions as follows: 1. What is the mode of attention of the Sesame Street's Cooperation Program? 2. What is the mode of understanding of the Sesame Street's Cooperation Program? 3. What is the correlation between the mode of attention and understanding? For this study, the researcher selected two kindergartens in Seoul, and have drawn forty children at random from them. The subjects were grouped equally according to age and sex. Tools for the study were the video tapes of the "Pro-social" program initiated by C.T.W. of the states which was originally foamed as a sound film strip. The t-test and Pearson's correlation were applied accordingly. The results of the study are as follows: 1. The older group have paid more attention to the program than the younger one on both part 4 and 7. 2. The older group have understand wall comparing with the younger one on both part 4 and 7. 3. There is no significant correlation between the mode of attention and understanding of the program.
