부모가 시각장애자인 청소년들이 지각한 가족체계상호작용유형과 사회적응형태에 관한 연구

Abstract

The young depend on the professional status and social background of their parents until1 the acquire a socially in independent position, Their position is objectively indentified by that of their parents, moreover, their personality is formed under the influence of their parents. In this point of view, the young having the handicapped parents, in the case of the family of the handicapped of socially weak background easily give rise to much conflict directly or indirectly during adapting themselves to in or out of their family. But, the study in the handicapped family till now is mostly about parents or family of the handicapped child and there is scarcely the study in the young of the handicapped parents. Therefore this study is designed for the presentation as basic data about counselling of the handicapped family and relevant program, rightly understanding the handicapped family and representing problems about social adjustment of the young having the handicapped parents, by recognizing the patten of social adjustment and interaction of family they perceive and the relationship between the interaction of the family and the social adaptation of young, making on object of the young having the blind parents. Furtuermore, this study is dealt with in view of systematic theory that recognize the family as a system, and conceptualizes the interaction of the family with the stand pont of cohesion and adaptability and the aspect of social adjustment in various fields such as real adjustment, fellowship relations, family relations, conformity through classifying this again as the pattern of the handicapped parents(in case of the blind father, the blind mother and the both), sex of children, family structure(break, core, enlargement) the difference between each group is analyized. The object of this study is the young having the blind parents, being in middle and high school, and living in Seoul, Among them the total of sampled persons is Fity-six, consisting of thirty-four of male and twenty-two of female. This study uses(as a tool) 「family cohesion and Adaptability Evaluation Scale : FACES Ⅱ」 for evaluating the interaction types of family system and eighty items drawn from the total 167 lower scale concerned with social adjustment 「character diagnosis test (Kim Ho Kwon, Jeong won Sik」 for measuring the pattern in social adjustment. The callected data are analized by one「way ANOVA, Duncan post-verification, t-test, pearson's coefficient, X^(2) through using SPPS program. The major results of this study are as follows. 1. The interaction types of family structure have no difference in the pattern of the handicapped parents, The pattern in social adjustment make meaningful difference only in fellowshing relation, in case of the group of the blind father and the both, 2. The interaction types of family stucture makes no difference in terms of sex of children, the pattern in social adjustment makes significant difference only in family relation. 3. The interaction types of family structrue children recognize at present and expect in furture shows the meaningful differences. 4. The interaction types of family structure children recognize at present and expecting furture the pattern in social adjustment. 5. And the interaction types of family structure make no difference between the handicapped family and normal family. Analizing the results of above study reveals the facts that the pattern of the handicapped parents affect fellowship relations, harmonious. family relations than boy students. Especially, this is intense in the structure of core family. It is found that the better family interaction is the more harmonious social adjustment of the young is, in the aspect of the relations of family interaction and social adjustment. On the basis of the above result, I represent the social work approach about the family and children of the blind.;청소년들은 사회적으로 어떤 독립적인 지위를 획득하기까지는 부모의 직업적 신분과 사회적 배경에 의존하게 된다. 또한 부모의 신분과 지위에 의해 객관적 신분이 규정될 뿐만 아니라 그들 인격자체가 부모의 영향아래 형성된다. 이런 관점에서 볼때, 사회적으로 취약한 배경을 갖기 쉬운 장애자가족의 경우 특히, 장애자를 부모로 둔 청소년들은 가정내 외에서 적응하는데 직접·간접으로 많은 갈등을 일으키기 쉽다. 그러나 현재 장애자가족에 대한 연구는 장애가 있는 아동을 중심으로 그 부모나 가족에 대한 것이 대부분이었고 부모가 장애자인 청소년들에 대한 연구는 거의 없는 실정이다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 여러 장애유형 중 특히, 시각장애자를 부모로 둔 청소년이 지각한 가족의 상호작용과 사회적응형태를 알아보고, 가족의 상호작용이 자녀들이 사회적응에 어떤 영향을 미치고 있는지를 파악함으로써, 시각장애자 자녀들의 가족과 사회에서의 적응 형태를 제시하여 장애자가족에 대한 올바른 이해와 함께 장애자가족 상담 및 관련 프로그램에 대한 기초자료의 제시를 목적으로 하고 있다. 또한 본 연구에서는 가족을 하나의 체계로 보는 체계론적 입장에서 가족상호작용유형을 응집성과 적응성을 중심으로 개념화하였으며, 사회적응형태는 현실적응력, 교우관계, 가족관계, 준법성등을 중심으로 보았다. 이것을 다시 장애부모형태(父가 시각장애자인 경우, 母가 시각장애자인 경우, 父母 양쪽 모두 시각장애자인 경우)별, 자녀의 성별, 가족구조(결손, 핵, 확대) 별로 분류하여 각 형태간의 차이를 분석하였다. 연구대상은 서울 거주지역을 중심으로 부모가 시각장애자인 청소년 중 중·고등학교에 재학중인 경우로 하였는데, 남자가 34명, 여자가 22명 총 56명이다. 연구도구는 가족체계 상호작용유형을 측정하기 위해 「가족의 응집성과 적응성 평가 척도」를 사용하였고, 사회적응형태는 「성격진단검사」(정원식·김호권)중 사회적응과 관련된 하위척도 167문항 중 80문항을 축출하여 사용하였다. 자료처리는 SPSS프로그램을 이용하여 일원변량분석, Ducan 사후검증, t-test, Pearson의 상관계수 X^(2)에 의해 분석되었다. 본 연구의 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 장애부모형태별 가족체계상호작용 유형에는 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적응형태에서는 교우관계에서만 父가 시각장애자인 집단과 부모 양쪽 모두 시각장애자인 집단에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 2. 자녀 성별로는 가족체계 상호작용유형이 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났고, 사회적응형태에서는 가족관계만이 유의한 차이를 보였다. 3. 자녀들이 현재 지각한 가족체계 상호작용유형과 앞으로 기대하는 가족체계 상호작용유형과는 유의한 차이를 보였다. 4. 현재 지각한 가족체계 상호작용과 앞으로 기대하는 가족체계 상호작용은 사회적응형태와 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 5. 가족구조(결손·핵·확대) 형태에 따라 가족체계 상호작용 유형 및 사회 적응형태에 대한 차이결과는 핵가족구조와 확대가족구조간에 앞으로 기대하는 적응성수준에서 유의한 차이를 보였다. 또한 시각장애자가족과 일반가족의 가족체계 상호작용유형을 비교한 결과 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과중 특징적인 것으로는 장애부모형태가 자녀의 교우관계에 영향을 주고있다는 것과 여학생이 남학생보다 원만한 가족관계 유지에 더 어려움을 겪고 있다는 사실을 발견하였다. 또한 청소년들은 현재의 가족체계에 만족하지 않고 좀더 단단한 가족간의 정서적 연대를 원하고 있는 것으로 나타났는데 특히, 핵가족구조를 갖고 있는 청소년 경우 더욱 높았다. 가족의 상호작용과 사회적응과의 관계에 있어서는 가족의 상호작용이 균형적으로 이루워지고 있을수록 자녀들의 사회적응 역시 원만하게 이루워지고 있음이 나타났다. 위 결과분석을 토대로 본 연구자는 시각장애자가족의 적응문제에 대한 사회사업적 접근방법을 제언하였다.
