초등 음악교재를 위한 토속 동요 연구

Abstract

The object of the thesis is to present the materials of folk nursery rhyme for the elementary music textbook. Looking into the contents of music textbooks used in the elementary school, one can hardly find folk songs for children. Among the very few of them, they are not only changed the meaning of the words of the song from children's emotion, mentality, and life feeling, but also are not likely to put on an aspect as nursery rhyme. Children have their own emotion and feeling which are gained by the language, and motion in their life. Their rhyme itself reprents the harmonization of children's emotion and feeling. For this thesis, the writer collected twenty-seven children's rhymes extracted from the broadcasting station, the cultural organizations, (Moon YeJinHeungWon, MoonWhaJaeKwanIikoog) and the unpublished thesises. Those twenty-seven rhymes are analyzed and graded for their appropriateness for each grade level according to the intervals, rhythmic varieties, and the component of the notes. There also are some suggested games included which usually have been accompanying the song in general. Children learn best when they sing with movements. The education of traditional music through this nursery rhyme should be practiced from elementary level when all senses develop most sensitively. Their mind and body could be influenced postitively by their native music. Because of that, the education of traditional music should be stressed in the operation elementary school curriculum.;세계 어느 민족이든 그들만의 민족 음악을 갖고 있다. 그 민족 음악에는 그들의 풍토, 언어, 생활양식, 그리고 습관에서 우러난 생명의식과 전통적 가락이 바탕을 이루고 있다. 이러한 민족의 의식과 선율은 태어나면서부터 익히게 된다. 그러므로 아동은 그들 나름의 정서와 율동을 가지고 있는데, 이는 생활 속의 언어감각과 동작에 의해서 이루어진다. 이러한 아동들의 정서 감각에 맞도록 표현한 것이 동요인 것이다. 이러한 동요를 통한 전통음악 교육은, 모든 감각이 가장 민감하게 발달하는 초등교육에서부터 이루어져야 하겠다. 유치원부터 국민학교까지는 모든 감각이 예민하게 반응하며, 정신과 신체에도 커다란 영향을 미치는 시기이다. 그러므로, 국민학교 교육과정의 지도면에 전통음악 교육이 강조되어 있는 것은 바로 이 때문일 것이다. 그러나, 현재 국민학교에서 사용하고 있는 음악교재의 내용을 살펴보면, 민요가창곡의 숫자가 극히 적을 뿐 아니라 대부분이 성인들이 부르는 민요로 되어 있다. 이와 같은 민요는 가사 내용면에서 아동들의 정서와 심리 및 생활감각과 유리되어 있을 뿐만 아니라 동요로서의 면모를 갖추지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 방송국, 문화단체(문예진흥원·문화재관리국), 논문집 등에 채집·채보된 곡중에서 아동의 학습과정의 소재로서 적합한 동요를 수집·정리하였다. 수집한 것은 방송국에서 6곡, 문예 진흥원에서 7곡, 문화재관리국에서 6곡, 논문집 등에서 8곡으로 총 27곡이다. 수집된 27곡의 동요에 나타난 구성음과 음정의 폭, 리듬의 형태 등을 분석하여 각 학년의 학습능력에 적당하도록 분류·정리하였다. 이로써 아동이 놀이와 함께 즐겁게 부를 수 있는 동요를 초등교육의 민요가창곡 자료로 제시하는 바이다.
