R. Schumann의 Faschingsschwank aus Wien, op.26에 관한 연구

Abstract

슈만 (Robert Alexander Schumann, 1810-1856)의 피아노 작품들은 서정적인 곡들이 많으며, 자서전적인 내용이나 문학과 잘 융화된 음악 내용을 담고 있다. 대표적인 피아노 작품으로는 <Papillons> <Davidbu¨ndler Ta¨nze> <Carnaval> <Kinderszenen> <Kreislerian> 등이 있으며, 이 작품들은 표제적 모음곡으로서 슈만의 성격을 잘 묘사해 준다. 본 논문에서는 슈만의 피아노 작품에 대한 일반적인 특징과 낭만적 음악어법을 살펴보고, <Faschingsschwank aus Wien> Op. 26의 작품 분석을 통하여 자유로운 형식 구조와 화음진행, 전조과정, 리듬 및 주제적 요소들의 음악적 일면을 고찰하였다. Op. 26의 분석을 통하여 살펴본 결과는 다음과 같다. 제1악장은 자유로운 Rondo형식, 제2악장은 3부형식, 제3악장은 Rondo형식, 제4악장은 3부형식, 제5악장은 Sonata형식으로 악장 구성에 있어 대조적인 성격이 잘 나타난다. 선율은 Motive적인 전개와 함께 악구의 반복이나 동형진행이 자주 나타나며, 리듬에서는 붓점리듬, 당김음, 교차리듬등의 다양한 리듬형을 구사하였다. 화성은 반음계적인 진행으로 인한 비화성음과 변화화음, 확대된 3화음(딸림7화음, 9화음)등이 사용되었고, 조성에 있어서도 불명료한 유동적 전조양식을 보여주고 있다. 이상과 같은 특징들은 고전주의의 전통적 형식에서 벗어나는 것으로서, 자유로운 형식과 구성법, 및 악곡의 처리등에서 낭만적인 성격을 잘 나타내주고 있다.;Robert Alexander Schumann, a contemporary with 'Chopin, Liszt and Brahms, wrote many lylic pieces for piano which depicted his life or were well matched with romantic literature. Schumann wrote a lot of character pieces including Papillons, Carnaval, Kreisleriana, Kinderszenen, and Davidbundler Tanze. These pieces are the programmatic collections and well deseribe his character. This thesis deals with Faschingsschwank aus Wien, op. 26, which i s one of the Schumann's programmatic Suites among the about twenty his character pieces. This Suite consists of five movements. The first movement is a free Rondo form . The second movement is a Ternary form and the third movement is a Rondo form. The fourth movement is a Ternary form. And the fifth movement is a Sonata form and well represents the constrastive character in the formation of movement. The melody is varied with the repitition of phrase and the sequence in accordance with the motive development. The various rhythm patterns are used such as dotted rhythms, syncopations, and cross rhythms. In the harmony, the non-harmonic tones, the altered chord, and the augment triad( dominant 7th chord, 9th chord) are used for the chromatic progress. The Key shows the unclear and liquid modulations in pursuit of the diversified and colorful effects for the expression of his emotion. In a word, this suite shows the creative techniques of Schumann. And this suite is characterized by its romantic trend in the compositional techniques and its liberal constitutents, compared with the rigid form of the classical music.
