일부 여자고등학교 학생들의 시력보호에 대한 지식 및 태도에 관한 조사연구

Abstract

The goal of this study is to give practical information about eyesight care - preventing refractive error and actual conditions of wearing glasses (or contact lenses)-to help schools health education. 1,216 (freshmen were picked from liberal and vocational high schools inside seoul city limit as a object of this case. This goal was successfully accomplished through careful survey and research. Following are the detailed results of this study: 1. The percentage of the freshmen wearing glasses in girls high school were: 57.5% in liberal high school and 41.7% in vocation-high school. 2. The percentage of both the students and his parents wearing glasses were: 49.9% in liberal high school and 33.8％ in vocational high school. 3. From the survey, majority of students began to wear glasses during their middle school year. The percentage were: 46.6% in liberal high school and 62.1% in vocational high school. 4. The percentage of the students who got their glasses prescribed from an ophthalmic clinic were: 60.6% in liberal high school, 31.5% in vocational high school and the rest got their glasses from the optician. 5. The percentage of the students wearing glasses who didn't have optometry check-up for 6 months were: 57.2% in liberal highschool and 38.4% in vocational high school. The percentage of the students not wearing glasses in the same situation were: 61.9%in liberal high school and 41.5% in vocational high school. 6. The percentage of the student wearing glasses who believe that their eyes got worse compare to their middle school year were:65.5% in liberal high school and 69.9% in vocational high school. The percentage of the students not wearing glasses with the same thought were: 32.3% in liberal high school and 40.5% in vocational high school. 7. The percentage of the students taking medicinal substances in order to prevent their eyes from amblyopia were: 70.9% who wear glasses and 43.2% who do not wear glasses. 8. The percentage of students who believe that the health education in school is necessary for the prevention of amblyopia were:79.2% of students attending in liberal high school, 82.9% in vocation at high school, 81.5% of students wearing glasses and 80.8% of students not wearing glasses.;우리나라는 근래 급속한 경제성장으로 인한 각종 문화시설의 도입과 날로 치열해 가는 학업으로 인하여 학생들의 근시안이 발생하는 율이 증가하는 경향이 있다 그러므로 시력저하에 대한 예방 가능한 보건교육을 통하여 학생들은 물론 학부형들이 스스로 시력보호에 관심과 노력하는 태도형성을 조성하는 일은 중요하며 필요하다고 하겠다. 본 연구는 서울시내 일부 인문계 및 실업계 여자고등학교의 1학년생 1,216평을 대상으로 안경 (또는 콘텍트렌즈)착용실태 및 시력 저하 예방에 대한 지식 및 태도에 관한 실태를 파악하여 학교보건 교육을 위한 자료를 제공하고자 설문조사를 실시하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 1. 여고 1학년 학생중 안경을 착용한 학생은 인문계학생은 57.5%. 실업계 학생은 41.7%였다. 2. 부모와 학생이 다같이 안경을 착용한 율은 인문계 학생에서는 49.9%, 실업계 학생에서는 33.8%였다. 3. 학생들이 안경을 처음 착용한 시기는 중학교 때가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났으며 인문계 학생은 46.6%, 실업계 학생은 62.1%였다. 4. 안경처방을 안과병의원에서 받은 학생은 인문계 학생은 60.6%, 실업계 학생은 31.5%였고 기타 학생들은 안경점에서 안경을 처방 받고 있었다. 5. 안경착용학생 중 최근 시력검사를 받을 시기에 있어서 6개월 이상 경과된 학생은 인문계 학생에서 57.2%, 실업계 학생에서38.4%였고 안경비착용 학생에 있어서는 각각 61.9% 및 41.5%였다. 6. 중학교 시절에 비하여 현재 시력이 나빠졌다고 느끼고 있는 학생은 안경착용학생 중 인문계 학생을 65.6%,실업계 학생은 69.9%였고 안경비착용 학생에 있어서 인문계 학생은 32.3 %, 실업계학생은 40.5%였다. 7 .시력보호를 위해 약물을 사용하고 있는 학생은 안경착용 학생에 있어서 70.9%, 안경비착용 학생에 있어서는 43.2%였다. 8 .시력보호를 위한 학교보건교육이 필요하다고 주장하는 학생은 인문계 학생에 있어서는 79.2%,실업계 학생에 있어서는 82.9%였으며 안경착용 학생에 있어서는 81.5%, 안경비착용 학생에 있어서는 80.85였다.
