TV가 스포오츠에 미치는 影響에 關한 硏究

Abstract

The influence of TV, which is the cultural environment of modern society, on the students' sports activities is studied. The study is carried out in three ways. One is the literature study where cultural sense of the sport, the relation between the modern society and sport and the functions of mass communication and TV are studied. Another is the analysis of the sports program broadcasted in KBS-1 and MBC. And the last is the questionaire survey on 800 students in elementary school, middle school, high school and college in Seoul. The result is summarized as follows. 1) The most popular TV watching time is 1-2 hours on weekday and more than 2 hours on holiday. 2) The baseball is in the highest rank of broadcasting and is the favorite game of the students. 3) TV's relay broadcasting and sports news do TV's reporting function. 4) Sports program does the educational function by extending the recognition of the sport and providing students with technical knowledge. 5) Sports program helps students with relaxation and leisure activity. 6) The response to the professional sports broadcasting is favorable. 7) TV watching results in the reduction of time for studying, radio listening and leading. From above it can be concluded that TV has an unfavorable aspect of reducing time for other activities such as studying, reading and sleeping, but is favorable because it is the sound way of spending leisure time, gives motives for the sports activities, provides students with information and knowledge, and improves the attitude toward the sports activities.;매스미디어가 社會와 個人에게 미치는 影響을 正確히 計量化할 수는 없지만 그 影響力이 絶對的인 것만은 否定할 수 없다고 본다. TV의 急速한 普及과 이에 따른 視聽時間의 增加는 社會·政治·經濟·文化등에 그 影響力을 行使하고 있다. 따라서 文化的 環境과 價値를 支配하고 있는 TV가 學生들의 스포오츠 生活에 있어서 어떠한 影響을 끼치고 있는가를 考察하여 效率的인 TV 프로그램 편성에 기초자료로 하는데 目的이 있다. 스포오츠의 文化的 意義와 現代社會와 스포오츠 및 매스컴의 機能과 TV의 特性에 대한 關係文獻을 硏究하여 要約하였으며, KBS-제1TV와 MBC-TV에서 放映한 스포오츠 프로그램을 分析하였고 서울市內의 國·中·高·大學校 學生 800名을 對象으로 設問調査를 實施하였다. 調査結果는 다음과 같다. 첫째로 TV의 스포오츠 프로그램 放映率은 KBS가 全體放送에 15.8％를 MBC가 14.4％를 나타냈다. 그 중에도 人氣種目인 野球가 37.3％로 많은 비중을 차지한 것은 特徵的인 일로 보여진다. 둘째로 스포오츠 情報媒體는 TV와 新聞이 主流를 이루고 있으며, 平日의 TV 視聽時間은 1∼2時間이고 休日에는 2時間以上 視聽하는 경향이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이로써 休日 家庭에서 健全한 餘暇善用의 方法으로 TV가 利用되고 있음을 알 수 있었으며, 또한 TV의 스포오츠 中繼放送이나 스포오츠 뉴우스가 運動欲求를 誘發시키고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 세째로 TV가 學生들의 스포오츠 生活에 미치는 影響으로서 스포오츠의 새로운 情報와 知識, 態度, 認識面에서는 肯定的인 反應을 보여준 반면에 日常生活中 學業時間, 讀書, 睡眠등에는 支障을 招來하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 調査結果로 볼 때, TV가 학업시간, 독서, 수면, 스포오츠(놀이)시간의 감소를 가져오지만, 여가시간의 活用으로 間接的인 스포오츠 活動에 참여하게 하고, 스포오츠의 認識을 새롭게 하며, 정보제공과 전문지식의 習得을 통해 直接的인 스포오츠 活動의 동기를 유발시킴으로써 스포오츠 活動에 절대적인 要因이 되고 있다.
