교육 프로그램에 따른 유아의 사회성 발달 비교연구

Abstract

본 연구는 개인적 활동이 많고 사회적 발달에 대한 배려가 부족하다고 인식되는 Montessori 교육에서의 사회성과 문교부 교육과정을 중심으로 운영되고 있는 S유치원간의 사회성의 차이를 알아보려는데 목적을 두었다. 위의 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음과 같은 연구문제를 설정하였다. 1 . 교육프로그램에 따른 자조능력에의 차이는 어떠한가? 2 . 교육프로그램에 '따른 이동능력에의 차이는 어떠한가? 3 . 교육프로그램에 따른 작업능력에의 차이는 어떠한가? 4 . 교육프로그램에 따른 의사소통능력에의 차이는 어떠한가? 5 . 교육프로그램에 따른 자기지도능력에의 차이는 어떠한가? 6 . 교육프로그램에 따른 사회화능력에의 차이는 어떠한가? 이상의 연구문제를 수행하기 위하여 충청남도 대전시에 위치한 문교부 교육과정 중심의 S유치원과 Montessori 교육과정 중심의 M유치원을 선정하였다. 대상아동은 만5, 6세 각각 30명씩으로 대상아동의 어머니에게 사회성숙도검사를 하였다. 연구의 도구는 김 승국, 김 옥기의 "사회성숙도 표준화 검사"와 한국 행동 과학 연구소에서 제작한 "사회성숙도 검사"에서 만 4∼7세에 해당하는 항목만을 발췌하여 사용하였다. 연구결과는 평균, 표준편차, 그리고 t검증을 하였다. 이상의 연구절차에 의거한 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 교육프로그램에 따라 자조능력에 있어 유의한 차이 (P<.05)를 나타낸다. 즉, Montessori 프로그램이 문교부 교육과정 프로그램 보다 자조능력이 높게 나타났다. 2. 교육프로그램에 따라 이동능력에 있어 차이를 나타내지 않는다. 3. 교육프로그램에 따라 작업능력에 있어 유의한 차이 (P<.05)를 나타낸다. 즉, Montessori 프로그램이 문교부 교육과정 프로그램 보다 작업능력이 높게 나타났다. 4. 교육프로그램에 따라 의사소통능력에 있어 차이를 나타내지 않는다. 5. 교육프로그램에 따라 자기지도능력에 있어 차이를 나타내지 않는다. 6. 교육프로그램에 따라 사회화능력에 있어 차이를 나타내지 않는다.;The purpose of this study is to examine the sociability of Montessori method, which have been said to lack sociability : For the purpose this study, it is attempted to see between a kindergarten which is not applying Montessori educational program(the general kindergarten) and a kindergarten which is applying Montessori method. The following study questions were proposed : 1. Does an educational program make difference in Selp-help? 2. Does an educational program make difference in Locomotion? 3. Does an educational program make difference in Occupation? 4. Does an educational program make difference in Communication? 5. Does an educational program make difference in Selp-direction? 6. Does an educational program make difference in Socailization? The subjects of this study are each 30 children of five and six years old attending the general kindergarten and Montessori at Daejeon in Choong-Nam Province. Pre-test and post-test were performed through an interview of mother of the child. The instrument employed in tile study is : the revisal version by the researcher using the Korean Vineland Social Maturity Scale based on both Seung-kook Kim and Ok-kee Kim and the parts which are related to the 4 to 7 years to investigate social maturity by KIRBS (Korean Institutional Research Of Science). To verify the study questions, Mean, Standard deviation, and t-test were computed. The major results of this study are as follows : 1. An educational program makes difference in Selp-help. Namely, Motessori program has shown better result in Selp-help than curriculum of the Ministry of Education. 2. An educational program doesn't make difference in Locomotion. 3. An educational program makes difference in Occupation. Namely, Motessori program has shown better result in Occupation than curriculum of the Ministry of Education. 4. An educational program doesn't make difference in Communication. 5. An educational program doesn't make difference in Selp-direction. 6. An educational program doesn't make difference in Socialization.
