현행중학교 한국화교육에 대한 실태조사연구

Abstract

Since 1945, the fine arts education of Korea has been leaned upon western style. So, the fine arts education of Korea has been neglected and the understanding of our culture has deficiency. But recently the emphasis of nation's autonomy and subjectivity reformed curriculum and the education of the traditional arts is oeing stressed. The aim of this study is Stressing that reforming the education of fine arts and the substantial management of subjectivity by grasping of Korean paintings education of middle school curriculum of fine arts education. Consequently, the subject o f this study goes like this. 1. How much importance is imposed to Korean paintings in the curriculum of fine arts education of middle school of nowadays? 2. What kinds of Korean paintings are being treated in the fine arts textbooks of middle school of nowadays? 3. How put the education of Korean paintings into action in school and what is the problem? So, I analyzed the curriculum of the fine arts education of middle school and the textbook. And the following is the analysis by letters which had been sent to the teachers of middle schools of large cities by me. 1. The great importance of traditional paintings lies in the curriculum of fine arts education of middle school of nowadays and the importance of Korean paintings lesson is being stressed in painting lesson. 2. Generally there is no gap in the ratio between the western paintings and the Korean in the textbooks but some textbooks reflect the Korean paintings in the low degree. 3. The Korean paintings is much more neglected than the western paintings in school because of the teacher's indifference and incapability and because of the deficiency of equipment and teaching material. 4. The actual conditions of Korean paintings education have little difference as schools and teachers and the private schools have better situation than the public, the girls' schools than the men's, and the schools has a teacher made a speciality of Korean paintings than not.;해방이후 우리나라의 미술교육이 서구 중심으로 편중되어, 우리의 전통미술이 소홀히 취급되어 온 결과 우리 문화에 대한 올바른 이해가 결여된 상태에 이르고 있다. 그러나 최근 민족의 자주성 및 주체성이 강조되어 교육과정이 개정되었으며, 현행 미술과 교육과정에서도 전통미술의 교육을 강조하고 있다. 본 연구는 중학교의 미술과 교육과정 중 한국화교육의 실태를 정확히 파악하여 미술교육 개선과 주체성 있는 교육의 내실있는 운영을 강조하고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서 밝히고자 한 문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 현행 중학교 미술과 교육과정에서 한국화영역은 어떤 비중을 차지하고 있는가? 2. 현행 중학교 미술 교과서에서 한국화영역은 어떤 내용을 어느 정도 다루고 있는가? 3. 실제 교육현장에서의 한국화교육은 어떻게 이루어지고 있으며 그 문제점은 무엇인가? 이를 위해서 현행 중학교 교육과정과 교과서를 분석하였으며 대도시의 중학교 교사를 대상으로 질문지를 우송하여 그 결과를 분석하였는데 그것을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 1. 현행 중학교 교육과정에서는 전통미술에 큰 의미를 부여하고 회화지도에 있어서 한국화지도의 중요성을 강조하고 있다. 2. 교과서의 회화작품은 서양화 대 한국화의 비율에 큰 차가 없으나 교과서에 따라서는 한국화가 현저히 낮은 비율로 반영된 것도 있다. 3. 실제 교육현장에서는 한국화가 서양화보다 훨씬 소홀히 다루어지고 있는데 그 원인은 한국화교육에 대한 지도교사의 관심과 능력이 부족하고 학교의 설비 및 교구의 구비상태가 미비한 때문이었다. 4. 한국화교육의 실태는 학교별, 교사의 전공별로 유의할 만한 차이를 보였는데 공립보다는 사립이, 남학교보다는 여학교가, 그리고 한국화전공의 교사가 있는 학교에서 비교적 나은 형편을 보이고 있다.
