취업모의 Day care 요구에 관한 일 연구

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find how working mothers presently deal with the problems of child care; to inversitgate day care needs, and types of day care centers. The research problems are as follows: 1. How working mothers presently deal with the problems of child care while they are at work? 2. Why do working mother show the need of a clay care center? 3. What are the components of day care services expressed by working mothers? 4. What type of day care do working mothers need? 5. What is the staff and physical environment compositions of day care center by working mothers? Ther subjects were 60 working mothers who had more than one child. Interview method with the questionaire prepared in advance was used, and reocrded their answers by writtlng or tape recorder. A comparison was made by a descriptive data analysis. This major finding are shown as follows: 1. Most of working mothers left their children in the care of their mothers or mothers-in-law while they were at work. And some working mothers could not find any proper place or person to take care of their children during daytime. 2. Most of working mothers needed a day care centers. The need of a day care centers was mainly for children's education. 3. The components of day care services expressed by working mothers were education, health, nurtrition services and parents involvement. However, social and psychological services were not expected as day care services. 4. The type of day care that working mothers need was government sponsored or non-profit institution 5. Working mothers expected the day care center to group children in multi-age. Than showed the day care staff need only teachers, and location of a day care center near their houses. Working mothers expressed their interest in tuition payment accordingly to pay-scale.;본 연구는 취업모의 근무시간동안의 유아의 보호자(기관)와 Day Care에 대한 취업모의 요구를 알아보려고 하였으며, 이 목적을 위해 설정된 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 취업모의 근무시간동안 유아보호(care)의 형태는 어떠한가? 2. 취업모는 왜 Day Care를 요구하는가? 3. 취업모가 원하는 Day Care 서-비스의 구성요소는 무엇인가? 4. 취업모가 원하는 Day Care 유형은 어떤 것인가? 5. 취업모가 원하는 Day Care Center의 人的·物理的 환경은 어떤 것인가? 이상의 문제를 해결하기 위해 조사를 실시했다. 조사대상자는 유아기 자녀를 1명이상 가진 취업모 60명이고 조사는 각 직장을 방문하여 미리 준비된 질문지를 통해 1:1로 면접을 실시하여 기록 또는 녹음하였다. 조사결과 수집된 자료는 빈도와 백분율을 알아보았다. 본 연구의 조사결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 취업모의 대부분은 유아기자녀를 혈연관계의 보호자에게 맡기고 있으며 맡길 곳이 없는 사례도 있다. 2. 취업모들은 대부분 Day Care를 필요로 하고 있으며, 그 이유는 자녀의 교육 때문이다. 3. 취업모들은 Day Care 서-비스가 교육·건강관리·영양관리·부모참여로 구성되기를 기대하지만, 사회적·심리적 봉사는 거의 기대하지 않는다. 4. 취업모들은 정부나 비영리단체가 운영하는 기관탁아를 기대하며 비용부담은 가정경제수준과 관계없이 동등하게 부담하기를 원한다. 5. 취업모들은 유아학급 연령구성에서 동일연령과 다연령을 원하는 비율을 비슷하게 나타냈다. 교사이외의 직원은 크게 필요로 하지 않고 있으며 시설의 위치는 집가까이를 많이 선호한다.
