영화음악 제작법의 고찰과 연구 : '제작 진행 과정'을 중심으로

Abstract

현대 사회는 영상매체의 시대이고 그것을 우리는 시각 뿐 만 아니라 음악이라는 매개체를 통해 청각으로 느낄 수 있다. 따라서 영상 안에서의 음악이란 영상의 내용과 상호적 관계로서 중요성의 위치가 높아지고 있다. 본 연구는 영화에 있어서 영화음악의 중요성을 인식하여 그 역할에 대해 재인식 해보고 영화음악의 발전과 분류를 통해 영화음악의 이해와 역사적 흐름에 대해 파악하였다. 또한 영화음악 제작과정은 연구 방법의 절차를 체계적으로 설명 하므로서 준비과정, 실제과정, 완성과정인 3단계로 분류했다. 첫째, 준비과정에서는 작곡가와 음악 편집자에 의해 준비되는 작업과정과 이들이 영화 감독과의 대화를 통해 이루어지는 작업들에 관해 살펴보았다. 둘째, 실제과정에서는 영화음악이 작곡되기 전 영상과 음악의 싱크를 위해 해야할 작업, 즉 클릭트랙과 자유시간 기법에 대해 분석해 보고 작곡이 되어진 후 녹음과정에서 필요한 부분에 관해 살펴보았다. 셋째, 완성과정에서는 음악이 최종적으로 녹음이 된 후 이루어지는 믹싱 과정과 대사와 효과, 음악이 함께 영상 안에서 믹싱이 되는 더빙작업에 관해 연구를 해보았다. 또한 현 한국음악의 제작 실태에 대해 알아보기 위해 한국 영화 음악 작곡가들을 대상으로 설문조사와 인터뷰를 실시해 조사, 분석했다. 따라서 한국 영화음악 제작과정에 관해 적용 방향을 모색해 보고 좀더 효율적이고 체계적인 영화음악 제작기법의 결론을 추적해 볼 수 있었다. ; A Comtemporary Society is the era of mass media. We can feel this by such media as both a visual and an auditory sense - a music. The purpose of this study is to seek about the importance of Film Scoring, to recognize the function of Film Scoring, and to make the understanding of Film Scoring and the historical coarse sequence clearer through the development and classification of Film Scoring. In addition, a Film Scoring- making process can be divided into three steps - preparation, practice and accomplishment for this analytical method. First, the preparation one is the process which consists of works by a music auditor and by cooperation with a movie director. Second, the practice one is the process to synchronize a reflection with a music before Film Scoring is composed. Also, on this step, I analyzed a click track and a free-timing method. After composed, I examined something needed for a recording process. Third, the accomplishment one is the process which completes an extensive mixing process after recorded finally as well as a dubbing process which mixes the ADR, and the Effect with the Music together in a reflection. Lastly to research the realities of making Film Scoring in contemporary Korea, I had interviews and questions with eight present composers of Film Scoring and analyzed the result of the subjects of investigation . Therefore, I am looking for a few applicable, future - oriented plans in the Film Scoring - making system and presenting the more effective and systematic vision about Film Scoring - making methods.
