새로운 마가 읽기를 통한 이야기 교육의 의의 : 유치부 어린이를 중심으로

Abstract

인간의 삶은 누군가에 의해 이야기될 때에 의미와 가치를 지니게 된다. 따라서 어떤 인간의 삶을 이야기한다는 것은 그와 함께 살아가는 것이다. 과거에 살았던 사람의 삶을 이야기하는 동안 과거의 사람은 오늘을 사는 것이다. 이러한 점으로 미루어 볼 때 기독교 신앙 공동체 안에서 예수의 이야기를 하는 것은 그 의의가 크다. 왜냐하면 과거의 예수 이야기 안에서 살아 있는 예수를 만날 수 있기 때문이다. 신앙이란 과거 예수의 삶에서 이루어진 사랑과 용서의 이야기가 오늘 나의 삶 속에서 해석되고 수용되어서 나의 구원이 되게 하는 것이다. 그런 점에서 믿음의 이야기 사건은 끊임없이 이야기되어져야 한다. 그렇다면 믿음의 이야기란 무엇인가? 그것은 예수 이야기이다. 따라서 기독교 신앙 공동체는 계속하여 예수 이야기를 펼쳐나가야 한다. 예수께서 약속한 새로운 공동체가 올 때까지 예수 이야기는 그쳐서는 안 되는 것이다. 그렇다면 예수의 이야기를 하는 사람들은 예수가 살았던 모습을 어떻게 진정성을 가지고 이야기할 수 있을까? 본 논문은 예수 이야기의 대가인 마가의 이야기를 듣고자 하는 것이다. 마가의 예수 이야기에는 교육적인 의도가 많이 담겨져 있다. 즉 마가의 예수 이야기는 초기 교회의 교육지침서이다. 마가는 갈릴리를 중심으로 한 초기 교회를 교육할 목적으로 특별한 이야기 교육방법을 사용한 것이다. 마가는 자신의 예수 이야기를 문학적 구성 안에서 자유롭게 엮어가고 있다. 그는 이방인들과 유대인들, 여자와 남자 모두에게 하나님의 나라가 열려 있다는 것을 가르쳐 주기 위하여 예수 이야기를 문학적으로 구성하고 있다. 마가는 오해와 실패를 거듭하는 제자들에게 제자직의 본질을 가르치기 위하여 일관된 시각으로 예수 이야기를 풀어가고 있다. 마가의 교육적 성찰은 예수가 걸어가신 길 이다. 마가는 예수가 걸어간 그 길의 과정 안에서 예수 이야기의 의미를 찾는다. 본 논문은 위의 주장을 하기 위하여 마가의 예수 이야기 가운데 세 차례의 뱃길 여행과 씨뿌리는 이야기 그리고 예루살렘 여행 이야기를 성서비평적으로 해석하였다. 그리고 각각의 본문에서 편집비평과 수사비평의 방법을 통하여 마가 이야기의 교육적 의의를 찾아내었다. 이렇게 찾아낸 교육적 의의를 살려, 유치부 어린이들에게 적용시킬 수 있는 길을 모색하였다. 즉 유치부 연령의 어린이들에게 적절한 개념어를 사용하고 교육방법을 동원하여 마가 이야기를 들려줌으로써 마가가 의도했던 교육적 목적에 다가갈 수 있도록 위 세 본문의 이야기를 재구성하였다. 유치부 어린이들은 언어 발달이 가장 왕성한 시기이기 때문에 이야기에 흥미를 갖고있으며, 또 이 시기에는 상상력이 뛰어나므로 이야기의 세계를 마음껏 여행하면서 그 이야기 속의 주인공과 일치감을 느낄 수 있다. 그리고 간접경험을 통한 배움을 얻는다. 이 논문의 목적이 여기에 있다. 연구 결과를 통하여 오늘날 기독교교육 현장에 예수의 이야기가 생생하게 이야기 되도록 하는 일을 제안할 수 있을 것이다. 누가, 어떠한 의도를 가지고, 어떠한 시각에서, 어떻게 이야기하느냐에 따라서 이야기는 그 의미가 축소되기도 하고 또는 확대되기도 한다. 이에 본 논문이 예수 바로 알고 알리기 의 작은 시도가 되어 기독교교육 현장에 바람직한 결과로 다가갈 수 있기를 기대한다. ; Human life is not meaningful, and worth until it is not told by someone. Therefore, speaking of certain human life means that s/he is still alive. Someone s past is said by people from time to time. With that every moment a human of the past still exists up to now. When we see it in the essential aspect, stories of Jesus (Gospels) is significant. With talking about Jesus and story of the human of the past, we can find living Jesus. Religion is just about a story of "love and forgiveness" which was completed with Jesus life and we apply it to our lives today, it can relieve us from sin. So belief in God must be said constantly. What is "belief"? That means Jesus. Therefore, the story of Jesus has to be continued by Christian community. We must not cease that story until coming of the new community which Jesus promised. And preachers who are saying of Jesus have to have an ability finding out the real meaning what he is trying to say. With this thesis, I would like to treat the "Mark s story of Jesus" who was a prominent speaker. He composed Jesus life story with literary plot and delivered a sermon with educational purpose for early church around Galilee. Story of the Jesus by Mark is considered as a "guide book" of early church. His educational teaching method was "story" using literary plot and it s goal was to let Jews and gentiles and "men and women" know that the heaven was opened to all of them. And he tried to teach them "real duties of disciples" depressed with full of misunderstanding and failure. His educational self-reflection means "traces of Jesus" and we could pursuit its significance within it. This thesis also treats some anecdotes about Jesus "Three time s voyage", "Trip through Jerusalem" and "Sawing seeds" in Mark s story of Jesus. And I also tried to find the educational significance by editorial criticism and literal criticism, recomposed this three stories, groped my way to apply to kindergartener with "proper words and way" of education. Especially they are interested in this way of story because they are in their development of language process at their ages and they are able to travel world of story on account of their being imaginative. And I believe they could also learn second -hand experience with it. This is a "goal" of my thesis. Through the result of this study, I expect that many people could hear the voice of Jesus in the field of Christian Education. The meaning of a story could be reduced or increased according to the speaker s intention and his own point of view. And I hope that educational intend of this thesis plays an important role in Christian education. Finally, I expect that this a few try of which was the motivation of this thesis could be one step of desirable results in the field of Christian Education.
