교사와 학부모의 상호작용을 위한 웹 사이트의 설계 및 구현 : 초등학교를 중심으로

Abstract

본 논문에서는 초등학교 자녀를 가진 학부모들이 학교에서 보내어지는 각종 알림장을 웹을 통해 전달 받고 이와 더불어 학교의 각종 행사 및 일정관리를 할 수 있는 서비스를 제공하는 웹 사이트를 설계하고 구현하고자 한다. 현재 초등학교 학생들이 학교에서 가정 통신문과 알림장을 학부모에게 전달하면 학부모가 그에 대한 답변을 학생을 통해 교사에게 전달하고 있다. 이 과정에서 전달 내용이 제때에 전달되지 못 해 불이익을 받기도 하며, 중도에서 알림장 및 통신문이 분실되는 사례도 간간이 발생하고 있다. 이러한 것들을 웹을 통해 제공함으로써 교사와 학부모가 학생을 거치지 않고 직접적으로 의견을 교환할 수 있는 통로를 개설하고자 한다. 뿐만 아니라, 그간 교류가 거의 없었던 학부모간에 토론하고 의견을 나눌 수 있는 공간을 제공한다. 교육의 주체는 교사와 학생 그리고 학부모이다. 이 세 가지의 주체간에 서로 의사소통이 원활히 이루어질 때 교육의 효과는 극대화될 수 있는 것이다. 그러나 현재 교육 현실을 살펴보면 교사가 개별적인 관심을 가지고 지도하기에는 학급 당 인원수가 너무 많고, 과중한 업무 부담에 시달리고 있다. 학부모는 교사를 직접 찾아가 면담을 하는 것에 부담을 가지고 있으며, 맞벌이 부부의 증가로 시간적, 공간적 제약 때문에 찾아가지 못하는 경우가 대부분이다. 따라서, 우리 사회에 이미 널리 보급된 인터넷을 이용하여 교육의 효과를 높이고자 하는데 이 논문의 목적이 있다. 본 논문은 학부모가 웹을 통해 자녀들의 학교 생활에 더욱 많은 관심을 가질 수 있도록 하는데 중점을 두어 설계하였다. 각 학부모에게 특화된 서비스를 제공하고 동적인 사이트를 구성하여 관심을 유도하고 참여를 증진시키며 학부모간 공통된 관심사항에 관해서는 서로 의견을 교환할 수 있도록 설계하여 교육의 효율성을 높이고자 한다. ; In this thesis, we design and implement the web-based system through which the parents of elementary students can receive various notices from the school and catch information on school activities. In addition, the system can provide the function of schedule management. Now a day, the correspondences between the elementary school and the parents of the students mainly rely on a paper-based method. The students deliver the notices from the school to the parents and the responses from the parents to the school. These processes have some vulnerability to miscommunication by the loss of the papers and the delayed delivery. The web-based system designed in this thesis supports direct communications between the teachers and the parents to solve the problems of the traditional paper based communication between the teachers and parents. The parents of the students who rarely have chances to exchange their ideas can easily discuss through the proposed web-based system, too. Students, teachers, and parents are the main bodies of education. The effect of education can be maximized when brisk communications among them are accomplished. However, the large class size and the overweight workload of teachers in today’s educational circumstances prevent the individualized care for students. Some parents of the students feel strain on the consultation with teachers and the parents of two-income family have difficulties in consulting with teachers because of the temporal and the spatial constraints. The main purpose of this thesis is to maximize the effect of education by providing a direct communication method among the main bodies of education over the popular Internet. The proposed web-based system is designed in priority to attract more interest of the parents in the school life of the student. The customized services to each parent and interactive interface in this web system can attract the interests of parents and lead voluntary participations. The parents can share the common interests and exchange their opinions by this we system. The web system designed in this thesis can ultimately improve the efficiency of education.
