교육망에 XML/EDI를 도입한 문서 관리 시스템

Abstract

조직 경영에서 문서는 중요한 역할을 한다. 특히 학교는 교육 관련 기관과 밀접한 관련을 맺고 상호작용을 하는 수단으로 공문서를 이용했다. 그리고, 공문서는 교육발전에 많은 공헌을 해왔다. 그러나, 그 목적에도 불구하고, 교육 활동을 지원, 보조해야할 공문서가 오히려 정상적이 교육 활동에 부정적인 요인으로 작용해서 교원의 근무부담과 사기에 큰 영향을 미친다[21]. 본 논문은 이런 문제를 인식하고, 행정업무의 간소화를 목표로 했다. 기존의 VAN(Value Added Network) EDI(Electronic Data Interchange)는 사업상 거래를 위하여 전자상거래의 효율을 도모하는 전략이다. EDI란 전자문서를 B-To-B(Business To Business) 환경에서 사람의 개입 없이 교환하기 위한 방법이다. 이를 도입한 기업들은 기존의 수작업 처리보다 많은 경비와 인력을 줄일 수 있었다. 또한, EDI도 인터넷 확산으로 웹(Web) EDI로 진행되었고, 더욱이 변환기(Translator) 사용이 필요 없이 간단하고, 저렴하게 전자문서를 유통시키는 XML(eXtensible Markup Language)/EDI로 변화되고 있다. 이러한 XML/EDI를 교육망에 도입하면, 교육행정업무 간소화에 크게 기여할 수 있다. 본 시스템은 현재 각급 학교에 구축되고 있는 교육정보유통시스템에서 지원되지 못하는 문서처리를 가능하게 하며, 교육정보유통시스템에 추가할 것을 전재로 작업부하를 부가하지 않는 방향으로 시스템을 개발했다. 본 논문은 현재 통용되는 문서를 분석하고, 그에 맞는 새로운 태그들을 개발, 구현하였다. 인터넷을 기반으로, 별도의 응용프로그램 사용하지 않고, XML로만 새로운 문서 및 그에 맞는 DTD를 정의하였다. 그럼으로써, 교사들의 잡무를 줄여서, 교사는 본업인 교수-학습에 전념할 수 있도록 하는데 기여한다. ; Document has played important role in management of organization. Above all, public and private schools have close relationship with education-related organizations and they have exchanged formal documents to communicate each other. In fact, document has contributed to the development of education. But despite its purpose, documents which ought to support educational acts have rather a lot negative effects on teachers and the staffs. Recognizing the problems, this paper is started to cut down the needless affairs in educational administration. The existing VAN EDI is a strategy used for electronic-commerce and has the ability to make the trade efficient. EDI is a system exchanging documents in B-to-B (Business to Business) without man s intervention. Firms which adopted EDI are able to diminish the numerous transactional processes, manpower and the cost. Nowadays EDI is changing into web EDI according to the development of Internet. In addition EDI has been replaced with XML/EDI, which can flow the electronic documents at low cost without using translator. Introducing the XML/EDI used in electronic-commerce to- the education web will make a great benefit for decreasing affairs in educational administration. In this thesis, a document management system using XML/EDI is implemented. This system makes it possible to treat documents which are not supported in current education-information-exchange system and can be added to the current system without any additional modification. I analyze the document used in the current system and implement new types of tags suitable for education web. In addition, I define new document and DTD(Data Tape Definition) using only XML without any application software. This will have effects on reducing teacher s administrative work and enable teachers to concentrate on their teaching.
