내재된 세계의 상상적 표현에 관한 연구

Abstract

그림은 눈에 보이는 것만을 그리는 것에 한정되지 않는다. 눈에 보이지 않는 것, 마음속 내부의 것을 자유로이 그리기도 한다. 이것은 회상, 공상, 환상의 세계이며, 이 세계는 현실의 시각적인 공간을 초월하고 시간을 초월하여 잠시동안 꾸는 꿈과도 같다. 현대사회는 정보와 미디어라는 새로운 패러다임으로, 정보사회 등의 용어와 함께 모든 일상의 이미지를 단순한 객관적 사실로 획일화 하려고 하고 있다. 이러한 현실은 우리에게 정신적 위기를 초래하는 결과를 가져왔으며 인간성 상실이라는 대가를 지불하게 만들었다. 물질문명이 초래한 물질적 매카니즘 속에서 우리 존재의 모습은 차갑게 물질화되고 창조적 사고를 지닌 주체로써의 인간이 아니라 획일화된 인간의 모습으로 생명의 원초적 힘을 잃어가고 있다. 이 시점에서 세계의 전체상을 합리와 논리라는 작은 시각에서 벗어나 무한한 상상과 무의식의 세계로 의식의 범위를 확대하는 비젼을 갖는다는 것은 매우 의미 있는 일일 것이다. 칸딘스키에 의하면 참된 예술작품은 비밀로 가득 차고 수수께끼 같은 신비스런 방식으로 예술로부터 생겨나며, 예술작품은 예술가로부터 분리되어 자립적인 생명을 획득하며 인격화되고, 정신적인 호흡을 하는 독립적인 주체 라고 하였다. 본인은 표현에 있어서 예술작품이 자립적인 생명력을 갖기 위해서는 우리존재 심층에 내재하는 순수한 심상등을 통하여 가능하다고 생각한다. 내재된 세계는 우리가 육안으로 볼 수는 없지만 이성이나 논리의 영역에서 벗어난 무질서 처럼 보이는 또하나의 질서가 존재하는 순수한 심(心)적 세계라고 생각한다. 우리가 바쁘게 살아가면서 그동안 소외시 되어왔던 순수한 감정, 정서 등을 새로운 상상적 이미지들을 통하여 진실되고 따뜻함을 공유할 수 있는 일러스트레이션 표현은 그 자체만으로 감동을 줄 수 있다고 생각한다. 따라서 본 연구는 우리 내부에 내재하는 비논리적 세계를 일러스트레이션으로 표현해 봄으로써 이성으로 감추어졌던 인간 존재의 신비와 감정들을, 환상적 이미지와 비논리적 정경들로 새롭게 시각화 하고 미지의 세계를 꿈꿀 수 있는 창조적 일러스트레이션의 비젼을 제시해 보고자 한다 ; Drawing is not limited to visible things. It is possible to draw invisible or internal things. It is the world of recollection, imagination and fantasy, and it is like a daydream surpassing the visual space of reality. Modern society is unifying all the images of daily life into simple and objective facts with the term of information society as a new paradigm called information and the media. This reality has brought us spiritual crisis, and it made us pay for loss of humanity. In materialistic mechanism caused by materialistic civilization, the appearance of our being has been materialized and it is losing its original power of life as a unified being rather than a man of creative thinking. At this point of time, having the vision of expanded scope with infinite imagination and unconsciousness, escaping from narrow vision must be very meaningful. According to Kandinsky, true work of art, filled with secret and mystique ways, is created from art and a work of art acquires an independent life separated from an artist, and it is an independent being has a spiritual breath. I think to make a work of art have independent life, we should make it though image existing deep in our existence. The internalized world is invisible to us, but I think it is a pure spiritual world where another order exists though it seems like a chaos without an ideal or logical area. Pure emotion we have ignored so far living a busy life can be expressed as illustration that makes us share truth and warmness through new imaginary image, and it can impress us itself, I think.Accordingly, expressing the illogical world existing inside us by illustration can newly visualize fantastic image and illogical emotion that was hidden by human reason, and I d like to suggest a creative vision that can make us dream of the unknownworld.
