Dmitri Shostakovich의 cello sonata Op.40에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 본인의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업 연주회에서 연주하였던작품들 중에서 D. Shostakovich의 Cello Sonata in d minor, Op.40을 연구 분석한 것이다. 그의 유일한 Cello Sonata로서 1934년에 작곡된 이 곡은 4악장으로 구성되어 있으며 1악장은 소나타 형식, 2악장과 3악장은 3부형식, 4악장은 론도형식이다. 각 악장에 나타나는 주제는 다양하게 변화하고 반복되는데, 순차·도약 진행이 혼합된 Arch형의 선율윤곽과 고전적 양식을 그대로 사용한단순한 리듬으로 구성된다. 그리고 전통적인 3화음과 7화음의 화성진행, 대위적 기법, 지속음 등의 비화성음의 사용, 반음계적 선율진행, 관계조 이외로의 전조 및 다양한 연주법 등을 통해서 고전적인 것과 현대적인 것이 잘조화된 직품이다. 본 논문은 Shostakovich가 처했던 시대적 상황 속에서의 작곡가에 대한이해와 함께 악곡 분석을 통해서 이 곡을 더 잘 이해할 수 있도록 하는데목적을 두었다. ; This thesis is a study on the analysis of D. Shostakovich s Cello Sonata in d minor Op.40, which was previously performed in my master s recital. This sonata, dated 1934, is the only cello sonata he composed. The Sonata is divided into four movements. The first movement is in sonata form, the second movement is in ternary form, the third movement is also in ternary form, and the fourth movement is in rondo form. Shostakovich utilized classical style and modern style harmoniously throughout this repetoire. For example, thematic motives have the melodic contour of arch form, and they are repeated and changed in variety. And there are simple rhythm, chord progression of triad and dominant seventh chord, contrapunctal technique, pedal point, chromatic motion, transposition to unrelative keys, and various performance techniques. The intent of this thesis is to help understand Shostakovich s cello sonata better through the knowledge of the composer s background and analyzing this Sonata.
