Carlos Salzedo의 "scintillation" for harp에 대한 연구 분석

Abstract

본 논문은 본인의 석사과정 이수를 위한 졸업연주회에서 연주했던곡목중에서 Carlos Salzedo(1885-1961)의 “Scintillation” for Harp을연구 분석한 것이다. 분석에 앞서 C. Salzedo의 생애와 곡의 이해를돕기 위해 그가 발명한 특별한 주법에 대해 살펴보았다. C. Salzedo의 “Scintillation”은 단악장으로 도입부와 Coda를 가진A-B-C (A+B)로 된 3부분 형식이다. 이 작품은 무조이며 3/4박자 춤곡리듬의 반복과 확장으로 5개의 중심소재로 곡이 이루어져 있다. 왼손화음의 5도 음정 사용과 온음계적 성향으로 전통적 음향이 나타나며, 이명동음과 glissando를 자주 사용하였다. 연주기법면에서는 잦은 전조와 임시적인 반음처리가 많아서 페달의움직임에 있어 민첩성을 요한다. C. Sa1zedo의 장식적인 선율과 그가 개발한 특별한 주법들은 20C현대 하프음악에 많은 영향을 끼쳤다. ; This dissertation researches and analyzes Carlos Salzedo s "Scintillation" which I played in graduate recital. Before the analysis of the piece. I examine the Salzedo s life and the special harp technique which he created for the in-depth understanding of the harp playing. The analystic results of the "Scintillation" are as follows: The first, it is composed of ternary form with an introduction and a coda. The second, this piece, atonal music, develops by repetition, expansion, and transformation of 3/4 s dance-like rhythm. The third, the use of vertical chord and diatonic unfolding are often explored in harmony while enharmonic and glissando are widely used in playing. Finally this piece requires specially prompt movement of pedals because this work is comprised of a lot of modulations and temporally chromatic treatments. Ornamented melody and new harp playing techniques created by the C. Salzedo are influential on the modern harp music.
