중학생의 태권도에 대한 인식과 참여욕구에 관한 연구

Abstract

21세기 미래 사회에서 중시될 인간의 삶의 질 향상에 공헌하고, 기능적·학문적·규범적 성격을 동시에 공유하는 종합교육이며, 전인 육성이 체육교육의 성격과 목적이라 할 때 태권도는 그 위상과 가치가 널리 알려진 우리의 자랑스런 민족 유산으로 체육교육의 목적을 충족시키는 데 가장 적합한 무도 스포츠 이다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 태권도 교육의 효율적이고, 효과적인 교육을 위한 기초적 자료를 제공하고자 중학생의 태권도에 대한 인식과 참여욕구를 알아보는 데 있다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위하여 경기도 수원지역의 남녀중학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 하여 910명부의 설문지를 연구 자료로 사용하였다. 연구도구는 이재용, 안자희, 정재윤, 양명석, 장환민, 문채영 등의 연구에서 사용한 설문지를 기초로 하여 본 연구에 적합하도록 수정·보완한 설문지로서 개인적 특성(성별, 학년, 태권도 경험유무, 공백기간, 경험장소 등) 7개 문항과 태권도에 대한 인식에 22문항, 그리고 참여욕구에 대한 17개 문항을 합하여 총 46개 문항으로 구성되었다. 본 연구에서 사용된 자료분석방법은 설문문항에 대한 신뢰도 분석(reliability analysis), 인식과 참여욕구에 대한 정도 및 개인특성간의 차이는 분산분석(ANOVA)을 하였고, 인식과 참여욕구의 관계는 상관분석(pearson correlaltion)방법을 사용하였다. 이상의 연구방법을 통하여 다음과 같은 결과가 나타났다. 첫째, 중학생의 태권도에 대한 인식(M=3.51)은 비교적 높았으나 인지적 영역(M=2.33)에 있어서는 부정적인 인식이 나타났다. 성별, 학년, 경험유무, 공백기간, 경험장소에 따라 나타난 태권도에 대한 인식의 차이는 다음과 같다. 성별에 따른 인식에 남녀간에 차이가 나타났는데 특히 기술적 인식에 남학생이 여학생보다 현격히 높은 것으로 나타났고, 학년간에는 1학년, 3학년, 2학년의 순서로 다소 높은 인식의 차이가 나타났다. 또한 경험유무에 따른 인식에는 경험이 있고 경험정도가 많은 학생일수록 높은 인식의 수준을 나타냈는데 특히 기술적 영역에 있어서 경험정도가 많을수록 현격히 높은 인식의 수준을 나타냈으며, 태권도를 경험한 공백기간이 짧을수록 높은 인식을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 경험장소에 따른 인식에는 학교보다 태권도장에서 경험이 있는 학생의 인식이 높았는데, 특히 기술적 영역에 대한 인식에서 현격히 높은 수준이 나타났다. 둘째, 중학생의 태권도 참여욕구는 대체로 부정적(M=2.98)인 수준이었으나 심동적 영역(M=3.95)과 정의적 영역(M=4.17)에서는 높은 참여욕구가 나타났다. 성별, 학년, 경험유무, 공백기간, 경험장소에 따른 참여욕구의 차이는 다음과 같다. 성별에 따른 참여욕구는 남학생이 여학생보다 높은 것으로 나타났는데, 특히 심동적 영역이 현격히 높은 것으로 나타났고, 학년간에는 1학년, 3학년, 2학년의 순서로 다소 높은 참여욕구가 나타났다. 또한 태권도를 수련한 경험이 있고 경험정도가 많을수록 비교적 높은 참여욕구가 나타났으며, 공백기간이 짧을수록 다소 높은 참여욕구를 나타냈다. 경험장소에 따른 참여욕구는 태권도장에서의 경험이 있는 학생이 높은 참여욕구를 나타냈다. 셋째, 태권도에 대한 인식이 높을수록 참여욕구 또한 높았다. 본 연구를 종합적으로 정리하면 교육적 가치가 높은 태권도를 교육함에 있어 학교체육·사회체육 모두 태권도의 지적 교육의 강화가 필요하며, 참여욕구를 위한 흥미로운 프로그램 개발과 태권도의 스포츠적 측면의 강화가 필요하겠다. ; In 21 s future society is regard a person as important value of a human being life , a contribution of its quality rise. When synthetic education have characteristics of scientific, functional, and normative and it s call the physical education object is all-round people, Taekwondo is a kind of the suitability martial arts of physical education object as it is known our nation property with authority and value. So this study s purpose is to investigate about a cognition of Taekwondo and participation desire of Middle school students and it wants to offer efficiency and effective of Taekwondo education. For this purpose, using the research data, 910 s questionnaires are distributed boys and girls Middle school students in Suwon, Kyoung-ki. A Research tool is based of Lee Ja-young, Yang Myong-suk, Jang Hyun-min, Mon Chi-young s questionnaires, as it make some revisions and complementary measures in questions, it is composed of 46 questions, an individual character(sex, grade, existence and nonexistence, blank space period, experience place) 7 questions, 22 questions of a cognition of Taekwondo and 17 questions of participation desire. Data analysis method of this study are reliability analysis, in a degree of cognition and participation desire and a difference of individual character used ANOVA, also reference of cognition and participation desire used person correlation method . That results is the following. 1. In a degree of cognition of Taekwondo(M=3.51) is high but a field of cognition is negative cognition(M=2.33). According to sex, boys are more higher then girls. Especially in technical area, boys appeared very remarkable then girls. According to grade, in order of first grade, third grade, second grade are appeared. And training experienced students of Taekwondo is upward. Especially in technical area, it is far better than that of the other side. If blank time is shorter and shorter, the cognition is upward. According to experienced place, it is appeared in a gymnasium training experienced students are have big difference in technical area than school experienced students. 2. Participation desire of Taekwondo is negative cognition (M=2.98) but a section of a mental action (M=3.95) and a section of a definition came out higher desire. According to sex, participation desire different girls between boys, boys take more higher then girls. And as grade, in order of first grade, third grade, second grade are appeared. And as participation desire of Taekwondo, training experienced students is upward. Especially in technical area, it is far better than that of the other side. If blank time is shorter and shorter, participation desire is upward. According to experienced place, participation desire is appeared in a gymnasium training experienced students are have big difference in technical area than school experienced students. 3. If the cognition of Taekwondo is high, paticipation desire is high also. Totally review of study, having high educational value, Taekwondo teaching is required school physical education system, social physical education also interesting program development for participation desire and Taekwondo s sports dimension reinforcement.
