가정환경이 정신지체 형제에 대한 비장애 형제의 태도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Abstract

1. 연구의 목적 본 연구에서는 가정의 원활한 기능과 정신지체 및 비장애 형제의 건전한 정서적·지적·사회적 행동 기반의 형성을 위하여 가정환경과 비장애 형제의 스트레스, 정신지체 형제에 대한 비장애 형제 태도의 관계를 밝히고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 다음의 연구목적을 가진다. <연구문제 1> 가정, 부모, 정신지체 형제, 비장애 형제의 일반적 특성에 따라 비장애 형제 스트레스에 차이가 있는가? <연구문제 2> 가정환경이 가정, 부모, 정신지체 형제, 비장애 형제의 일반적 특성에 따라 비장애 형제의 스트레스에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? <연구문제 3> 가정, 부모, 정신지체 형제, 비장애 형제의 일반적 특성, 가정환경 및 비장애 형제 스트레스가 정신지체 형제에 대한 비장애 형제의 태도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 2. 연구의 방법 본 연구의 대상은 서울, 경기 지역의 장애인복지기관 이용자를 대상으로 하였다. 1-3월까지 무작위로 추출한 19개의 장애인복지기관에 전화 및 내원을 통해 설문 가능여부를 문의한 결과 6개 기관에서 설문을 허락받았다. 4월에 기관을 방문하여 이용자 중 정신지체 자녀를 둔 부모와 초등학교 이상의 만 7세 이상 27세 이하의 미혼인 비장애 형제자매가 있는 가정에 설문지 210부를 배포하여 직접 기재하도록 하였다. 그 결과 4-5월에 걸쳐 총 123부가 회수되어 회수율은 58.6%였다. 검사 결과 수집된 자료로 <연구문제 1>을 검증하기 위하여 t-test, one way ANOVA(일원변량분석), scheffe´ test를 실시하였다. <연구문제 2>를 검증하기 위해서는 중다회귀분석(multiple regression)을 하였으며, <연구문제 3>을 검증하기 위해서 경로분석(path analysis)를 실시하였다. 3. 연구결과 1) 비장애 형제 스트레스는 가정의 사회 경제적 지위, 부모의 연령, 정신지체와 비장애 형제의 연령 및 터울에 따라 차이가 있다. 2) 가정환경은 정신지체 및 비장애 형제의 연령에 따라 비장애 형제의 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 3) 가정환경은 비장애 형제의 스트레스에 직접적인 영향을 미치며, 비장애 형제의 정신지체 형제에 대한 수용도·지지 태도에 간접적인 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 정신지체 형제의 연령은 비장애 형제 스트레스에 직접적인 영향을 미치고, 비장애 형제 스트레스는 비장애 형제의 적대적·당황 태도에 직접적 영향을 주고 있음을 알 수 있었다. ; This study is to identify the relation between home environment and normal siblings stress and the attitude of normal sibling toward mentally handicapped sibling, in order to establish the harmonious function of home and the behavioral basis of mentally handicapped sibling and normal sibling in emotional, intellectual, and social aspect. The purpose of this study is to research follow contents. <Subject of study I> Does normal siblings stress vary according to the properties of home, parents, mentally handicapped sibling, and normal sibling? <Subject of study II> What is the influence of home environment upon normal siblings stress according to the general properties of home, parents, mentally handicapped sibling, and normal sibling? <Subject of study III> What is the influence of the general properties of home, parents, mentally handicapped sibling, normal sibling, home environment, normal siblings stress upon the attitude of normal sibling toward mentally handicapped sibling? This study researched persons using welfare organizations for handicapped persons, which are located in Seoul city and Kyonggi province. As a result of contacting nineteen welfare organizations for handicapped persons, which were selected at random from January to March in this year, by telephone and visiting, six welfare organizations allowed conduct questionnaire. I visited welfare organizations on April, and then distributed two hundred ten copies of questionnaire to parents with mentally handicapped son or daughter and to families with unmarried normal sibling of age below 27 more than 7 among users of welfare organization. They filled out questionnaire by themselves, and then I collected total 123 copies on April and May, so collecting rate was 58.6%. To verify <Subject of study I> with collected materials, conducted t-test, one way ANOVA, and sheffe test. To verify <Subject of study II>, applied multiple regression, and did path analysis to verify <Subject of study III>. The results of this study are as follows: 1)Normal siblings stress varies according to the level of home in social and economic aspect, parents age, the age of mentally handicapped sibling and normal sibling, and their age gap. 2)Home environment influences on normal siblings stress according to the age of mentally handicapped sibling and normal sibling. 3)Home environment influences directly upon normal siblings stress, and also does indirectly on normal siblings understanding and supporting attitude toward mentally handicapped sibling. Mentally handicapped siblings age influences directly upon normal siblings stress, and normal siblings stress also does directly on his/her hostile and perplexed attitude.
