문화재 보존지역의 환경 색채 조화 방안에 관한 연구

Abstract

오늘날은 보다 나은 인간환경과 삶의 질 을 추구하는 문화와 환경의 시대이다. 경제적인 성장 및 과학기술 발전과 함께 정보사회로의 진행이 가속화되면 될수 륵, 세계 각국과 도시사이에서는 그들이 살고있는 곳만이 지닌 독특한 문화를 알리려는 노력과 함께 서로 다른 지역의 문화에도 관심을 가지게 되었다. 이것은 문화, 특히 지역문화의 특수 가치에 대한 인식이 높아가고 있음을 의미하는 것이다. 이 시점에서 우리는 세계화에 걸맞는 보편성을 바탕으로한 우리도시의 정체성을 찾는 문제를 매우 중요한 과제로 인식해야 한다. 도시 건축물의 색채는 도시의 경관과 이미지, 그리고 그 지역의 역사 ·문화 · 자연적 특잭을 나타내는데 중요성과 잠재된 힘을 지닌 것은 자명한 사실이다. 산업화 사회 이전에는 건축물이나 도로와 같은 환경시설의 소재는 그 지역의 자연소재가 주류를 이루었기 때문에 저채도의 자연색이 일반적이었으나 산업화에 따라 발달한 산업소재로 인해 거리에는 각양각색의 다량생산된 색채가 범람하게 되었고 이로인한 문제점들이 발생하게 되었다. 전통과 도시의 고유한 이미지가 파괴되었고 과거와는 단절되었으며 획일화의 현상이 일어났다. 연구의 대상지로 건건한 경주는 다른 도시와는 확연히 차별화되는 역사와 문화의 관광도시이지만 이곳 역시 색채의 남용으로 인해 고유가치가 파괴되떤서 정체성을 상실한 실정이다 건축물의 색채계획은 개인의 취향이나 헝정상의 획일적인 계획에 따르는 차윈을 벗어나 도시환경의 조성이라는 개념으로 접근해야 하며, 하나의 도시는 그 곳의 색채환경의 방향에 따라 전체로서의 흐름속에 다양한 변화를 유도되어져야 한다. 본 연구는 기존 환경에 관한 색채현황의 조사를 토대로 하여 대상지인 경주시의 정체성을 확립하고 다른 지역과의 차별성을 두어 이에 적합한 환경색채계획을 제시하고자 하며 다음과 같은 과정으로 진행되었다. I장에서는 문화재보존지역의 환경색채계획의 의의와 목적, 연구의 범위, 그리고 연구의 방법을 밝혔다 II장에서는 색채의 시지각적 특성과 환경색채가 인간과 사회에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고 환경색채계획의 필요성을 확인한다. III장에서는 인간, 환경과 색채간의 상호 관련성을 고려한 생태학적 관점의 자연잭체계 NCS의 특성과 색채팔레트의 유용성을 고찰하고 우리나라의 음양오행사상과 그것에 기반을 둔 오방잭에 대해 알아본다. 그리고 색채계획의 이론적 틀이 되는 색채조화의 윈리와 환경색채조화의 기준을 설정하였다 IV장에서는 색채계획을 위해 먼저 경주시의 색채환경을 조사 · 분석하여 문제점을 파악하였고 고유의 잭을 찾기위해 색채조사의 대상물을 선정하여 측잭후 분석하였으며 개선방향을 제시할 색채팔레트를 작성하였다. V장에서는 논문연구의 대상지인 경주시내에서 모형사례 연구를 위한 일정 대상 지역을 선정하여 IV장에서 도출된 색채팔레트를 활용할 배색유형 샘플을 만들어 가로환경의 색채계획안을 제시하였다. Vl장에서는 연구의 내용과 진행과정을 통해 나타난 결과에 대해 요약정리를 하였으며 환경색채의 개선을 위한 제언을 하였다. 본 연구에서는 경주라는 특수성을 지닌 도시로 한정하여 연구하였지만, 이는 이 지역에만 국한된 것이 아니라 신도시의 개발이나 도시의 재개발시 등에 충분히 일반화 될 수 있음을 밝히고자 한다. 이 논문 연구를 통해 향후 올바른 색채교육으로일반대중에게 그 중요성을 알려야 할 것이고, 고도로 숙련된 색채전문가는 물론 행정 기관과 언론, 도시의 주인인 시민들의 적극적인 관심과 참여 등 이 모든 각계의 노력이 일체가 된 종합적이고 전문적인 시점에서 지역의 정체성을 확립해 나가기 위한 색채계획이 연구, 검토되어야 하겠다.; This generation is called the age of culture and environment pursuing the quality of life and better human environment. As we have moved on to information society with increasing development of industry and the advance of science, many countries and cities have been concernod about different culture of each region and premotion of their unique culturat aspects. This indicates that the recognition of value of the local culture has been increasingly spread. In this respect, we must undorstand the importance of identity of our cities on the basis of universality. It is obvious that the coler of the city structures has the latency to display the characteristlc feature of the city itself, its Image and the character of history, culture and nature. Before industrialization, the coler of the facilities of the environment, like architectures and streets is almost naturat and has a low chroma as those structures were made of naturat resources easily found in localarea. However, the streets have been deluged with various coler mass-produced following progressive Industrlalization. It caused serlous problems. The traditlonal urban image was seriously damaged and became extinct from the past. It became also extremely unified. Gyeongju, the traditional city of Korea well known as the distinctive sightseeing city has, in fact, lost its identity due to an abuse of various coler. The ground plan for city colering should be in accordance with the basic concept of the overall city formation, and should not be affected by any individual preferences or uniform administrative plan. This research has been progressed on the basis of the initial research for colering status of the existing city surroundings. The purpose of this research is to establish the identification of city of Gyeongju and propose the suitable colonng plan considenng its surroundings. The summary of each chapter is as follows. In chapter I, the extent and method of research for colering plan for the culturat properties prelection area are identified In chapter II, the character of coler, from the point of the sense of sight and perception is identified and it is also to be studied how the environmental colering affects on human society On the basis of this, the importance of environmental colering plan is reiterated by surveying and analyzing the present situation in Gyeongju city. In chapter III, the specific character of NCS (Naturat Color System) considering the relevance between environment and coler as well as the ecology are comprehenslvely studied. The utility of drawlng-up of the pallette of coler is also be studied. Then, The Yin and Yang Five Elements Thoughts and related Five Colors are Introduced. The principle of coloring harmony and the standardization of environmental colering harmony, which are the theoretical basls of coloring plan, are created. In chapter IV, the objects of research for colering are selected and analyzed for establishment of the environmental colering plan. Pallette of color is framed to present the improvement. In chapter V, the location is selected for sampling research and the colering plan Is proposed by making samples with illustration of the arrangement of coler to use the abstracted pallette of coler of chapter IV. In chapter Vl, the overall contents are summarized and proposal for environmental colonng plan are made. Taking this opportunity, this research could be applied to development or restoration of other cities as well as Gyeongju. This research suggests that the importance of the colering plan should be notified to generat public through constant education. It is to be reiterated that the colering plan must be set up through close cooperation of exports, authorities and the citizens in ordor to establish the identification of the city.
