생상의 <동물의 사육제> 감상학습지도 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 효율적인 음악 감상학습을 통해 학생들에게 심미적 체험이 되게 하기위하여 현행 교과서에 제시된 생상의 <동물의 사육제>를 중심으로 감상수업에 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 연구하는데 그 목적을 둔 사례연구이다. 내용 연구에 앞서 관련문헌자료를 근거로 음악 감상지도와 관련된 일반적인 견해를 검토, 종합하여 음악 감상의 본질과 중요성, 음악 감상의 교육적 특성과 목표, 음악 감상을 통한 심미적 음악체험에 대해 살펴보았고, <동물의 사육제>를 표제 및 연주 형태와 관련지어 각 악곡의 상징적이고 묘사적인 부분들을 연구하여 동물의 특징이 음악적으로 어떻게 표현되고 있는지를 탐색하였다. 현행 초등학교 6학년 음악 교과서와 중학교 1·2학년 음악 교과서에 실린 생상의 <동물의 사육제>는 표제음악으로서 동물들의 모습과 움직임을 음악적으로 표현하고 있다. 음악 예술은 소리와 그 구성요소의 조직과 결합을 통해서 음악의 예술적 의미가 표현되고 전달되는 것이므로 음악을 이해하기 위해서 음악의 본질인 음악적 요소를 기본적으로 탐구하지 않고서는 접근될 수 없다. 따라서 표제음악을 감상할 때에도 표제적 내용에만 초점을 두지말고 음악의 본질적 요소인 구성요소의 특성에 대한 이해도 함께 이루어져야 한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 이론적 배경과 악곡의 내용 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 악곡 속에 어떤 음악적 요소들이 어떻게 구성 되어 아름다움과 의미를 발생시키고 있는가를 탐색함으로써 의미있는 음악 학습이 이루어 지도록 이끌어야 한다. 둘째, 감상 지도는 음악 작품의 일반적 사실에 대한 지식의 획득에 초점을 맞출 뿐만 아니라, 음악 작품에서 느낄수 있는 음악적 요소들, 소리를 주제와 관련시켜 표현한 요소들을 가능한 충분히 들려주어 느끼게 함으로써 학생들로 하여금 그것에 충분히 반응하도록 해야 한다. ; This paper has a purpose of studying plans to effectively use in appreciation class to let students have aesthetic experience through desirable music appreciation learning, focusing on Saint-Saens the carnival of animals. Before examining the contents, I looked at the essence and importance of music appreciation, the educational characteristic and purpose of music appreciation, and aesthetic music experience through music appreciation, and groped for now the characteristics of animals were musically expressed by studying each song s symbolic and descriptive parts related to the title and performing type of <Le Carnaval des Animaux> . <Le Carnaval des Animaux> by Saint-Saens written in musical textbooks now in use at primary schools and middle schools can be a good example. The artistic meanings of musical arts are expressed and conveyed by means of the sounds, the organization and combination of musical constituent elements. Therefore to understand music itself, it should be studied by peacing the focus on the essential elements of music. When appreciation the program music, not only the external meanings of the program music should be focused, but the characteristics of the musical constituent elements, the essential elements of music, should also be studied together. Here are the summaries of the contents presented in this thesis through the theoretical backgrounds and the study of meaningful expressions of musical pieces: 1. By studing what elements are in music pieces and how they match together, teachers have to do their best in other that the efficient learning in music can be achieved. 2. Theching the ways of appreciating musical pieces, learning activities have to be done by having students listen as enough as possible to the musical elements they can feel in musical pieces that is the elements which make sounds expressive musically, see and feel them properly as well as focusing their efforts on having students gain the conceptional knowledges of music.
