Ottorino Respighi의 연가곡 [Deita Silvane]에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 논문은 20세기 이탈리아 음악계의 주축을 이룬 작곡가 Ottorino Respighi (오토리노 레스피기: 1879-1936)의 연가곡인 <Deita silvane>에 관한 연구이다. Respighi는 오페라가 주를 이루던 이탈리아에 순수한 예술가곡을 발전시킨 작곡가로, 그의 가곡 작품은 과거의 이탈리아 음악을 복원하고자 하는 민족주의적이며 고전주의적인 음악정신과 여기에 프랑스 인상주의에서 영향을 받은 특징들이 융화되어 절충적이면서도 독특한 성격을 가지고 있다. 여기서는 우선 Respighi의 생애에 대해 고찰해 본 후에, 그의 가곡 작품들을 살펴보았는데, 참고로 가곡의 목록과, 가곡의 가사를 쓴 시인과, 성부를 첨부하였으며, 마지막으로 연가곡인 <Deita Silvane>를 분석함으로 20세기 이탈리아 예술가곡의 발전에 큰 기여를 한 Respighi에 대한 이해와 접근을 시도해 보았다. ; In this thesis, an inside look was taken at the frenetic background to the special aspects of the famous 20th century Italian composer, Ottorino Respighi (1879-1936) and his well known song cycle, <Deita Silvane>. One of the most distinguished achievements of Respighi is that he devoted his life to a restoration of Italian pure art songs during the period when opera was popular in Italy. His music clearly indicates that he wanted to bring back the Old Italian style, which has its unique nationalistic and classical flavors. In addition to these characteristics, his music is mixed with French impressionism and is very eclectic. The <Deita Silvane>, which consists of five songs, “I fauni”, “Musica in horto”, “Egle”, “Acqua”, and “Crepuscolo”, share the following commonalities: unclear tonality fascinating and mysterious effects from new chords, different accompaniment forms, and use of varied free rhythms. There are clear signs of impressionism in all of these songs. In this study, firstly his biography is introduced, and then his famous Italian art songs in detail. Finally, by analyzing his song cycle, <Deita Silvane>, an attempt is made to understand and approach how he contributed the 20th century Italian art song genre. Respighi’s art song list, including poets who wrote the song texts, and voice parts are attached.
