홈페이지를 활용한 수업의 효과와 수업 만족도 조사 : 중학교 3학년 물상 '산과 염기'

Abstract

본 연구에서는 인터넷을 활용한 수업의 효과와 수업 만족도에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. 연구를 위하여 홈페이지를 제작하였고 학생들의 컴퓨터와 인터넷 사용에 관한 내용의 설문지도 제작하였다. 그리고 인터넷을 활용한 수업의 효과를 알아보기 위하여 성취도 평가 문항을 제작하였다. 중학교 3학년 남녀 학생 231명(남학생: 151명, 여학생: 80명)을 대상으로 인터넷을 활용한 ‘정보 탐색형 수업’(A반)과 ‘교사 안내형 수업’(B반)을 실시하였다. 두 가지 유형의 수업을 남학생 2개 반과 여학생 1개 반에게 각각 실시한 후 학생들의 인터넷 수업에 대한 만족도를 비교 조사하였다. 그리고 성취도 평가 문항을 통하여 수업의 효과를 알아보았다. 인터넷 수업을 받은 학생들의 58%가 인터넷을 활용한 수업이 ‘도움이 된다’라고 응답하였으며, ‘보통이다’라고 응답한 학생은 30%로 절반 이상이 인터넷을 활용한 수업에 만족하는 것으로 나타났다. 수업 만족도에 대한 조사에서는 ‘정보 탐색형 수업’을 받은 반과 ‘교사 안내형 수업’을 받은 반의 수업에 대한 만족도에 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다(p< .05). 그리고 ‘정보 탐색형 수업’을 받은 남학생과 여학생간에도 수업 만족도에 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 ‘교사 안내형 수업’을 받은 반의 남학생과 여학생간에는 남학생이 여학생보다 더 수업에 만족하는 것으로 나타났다(p< .05). 수업 전·후의 점수 차이를 이용한 학습 성취도에 대한 조사에서는 ‘정보 탐색형 수업’을 받은 반과 ‘교사 안내형 수업’을 받은 반의 수업을 통하여 향상된 점수에 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 동일한 수업을 받은 남학생과 여학생간에도 학습 성취도의 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다(p< .05). 이 연구를 통하여 인터넷을 활용한 ‘정보 탐색형 수업’과 ‘교사 안내형 수업’ 모두 학생들에게 효과가 있었으며, 인터넷을 활용한 수업의 가장 큰 장점이 ‘알아보고 싶은 내용을 스스로 찾아 볼 수 있다’는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 학생들은 인터넷을 활용한 수업에서 더욱 다양한 그림과 내용을 원하였으며 ‘교사 안내형 수업’을 할 때에는 대형 화면 등 물리적 환경이 잘 뒷받침되어야 효과적이라는 것을 알 수 있었다. ; The purpose of this study is to research the effect of using internet home-page instruction on the students class satisfaction. So, to use internet instruction in the class, I constructed Home-page about Acids and Bases , and questionnaire which is about using computers and internets. And, to investigate the effect of internet instruction, Achievement test was taken by 231 students(Boy: 151, Girls: 80) in the ninth grade before and after class. I found which teaching method of two information-finding instruction(A class) and teacher-guided instruction(B class) is better in using internet instruction. The results of this study are as follows. 58% of all students studied Acids and Bases by using an internet instruction answered it was helpful . And boys in B class are more interested in internet instruction(p< .05). Test score after class is meaningfully more higher than score before class. I found that both information-finding instruction(A class) and teacher-guided instruction(B class) have an effect on students class satisfaction, and all of students like finding informations themselves. So, the this study implies that students like to study individually based on their study-ability and that students need many pictures in using on internet lesson. And from this study, I knew that physical environments such as large monitor is needed at teacher-guided instruction The results of this study suggest the use of internet in education must be developed and considered to improve the information-searching ability and spontaniety. In addition the use of internet instruction might be applied science education with various teaching methods.
